Spent two lovely nights here in July. They were very busy, but Angelique on the front desk was absolutely charming and very helpful. She went into great detail to recommend a lovely place for us to go to have lunch. I would agree with others, that dining around the swimming pool feels strange, and we didn't swim for the same... I booked this hotel for two nights either side of a car rally we were on. I booked directly and had to pay 125 euros to secure the room. The first night friends stayed here as well, they had booked with a booking agency so had not paid anything. On arrival at the hotel we had drinks then ate in their... More

We stayed while visiting Giverny. The buildings and grounds were beautiful. Our room in the stable block was clean but the walls were incredibly thin and we could hear everything from the room next to ours and music from the room below so not exactly peaceful! Breakfast was a basic buffet and expensive. We would not visit again as we found... More

Having read a variety of negative comments in previous reviews I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I stayed for a couple of nights while attending the classic car show at nearby Mantes La Jolie and it was a very enjoyable stay. The staff were all perfectly friendly, my room in the Villa Florentine was warm and comfortable with an... More

My boys -there are 4 of them, 10 years to 30 in ages- and my Niece, who is 24 and I stayed here for one amusing evening back in August this year. We were cycling the Avenue Verte, London to Paris and getting very wet and tired, so took a quick booking at a tourist information office about 20/30k away... More

We stayed in this hotel to be near to Giverny and managed to booked 2 rooms at a reasonable price. The cark park was a long way from our rooms and there was no offer to help with luggage, but it gave us an opportunity to wander through the beautiful grounds. Both rooms (1st and second floor in Villa Florentine)... More

We stayed in the hotel on our cycling trip. Through some misunderstanding we did not realize that the hotel closes down on Sunday evening and we arrived after 100kms on our bicycles that day to find out that the restaurant was closed and that we could also not use the sauna or the pool as the staff went off-duty that... Delightful restored property 20 minutes from Giverny in a very peaceful village. Excellent restaurant, running location, service. We ordered a package that had tickets to Giverny, allowing us to bypass long lines when we arrived at the gardens. We stayed in the carriage house - very ample rooms with terrific bathroom. Only complaint was we could hear the man snoring... More

We decided to stay at Les Jardins d'Epicure after reading about it in NY Times and was going to be spending time in Giverny. We were staying the first night in the third floor of Villa Florentine, and the room was SO small. Almost stifling, even for European standards. The second night we moved to a "suite" on the third... Situated on the fringes of a small village, and set in its own stunning grounds, this really does promise something out of the ordinary. In practice, it is not quite that. Our room in the Villa Florentine was a little on the small side, but pleasantly furnished, the bathroom however was poorly maintained, and the shower refused to stay in... More
