This is a great rural Hotel not far from the airport of Ciampino. You will not use it to visit Rome, but it is a great place if your are travelling round Rome. On a small hill and from the terrace on a clearcday you can easily pick out the major monuments of Rome.

From the moment you arrive you are already sad that you will have to leave some day! You would like to stay there... forever! The views, the hotel, the charm, the service, the food: first rated! From the reservation process, to the free pickup at airport, to the extraordinary welcome by Sergio & staff, the most romantic & delicious dinner... More

One night stay as close to Ciampino airport. Fabulous service re airport transfers. Cute supper. Yummy Frascati. But there the nice ascpects end. Although other staff seemed lovely, grumpy receptionist wasn't interested in anything. Worst night's sleep ever as no air con. Seemingly it was broken. It was suggested that I open the windows as there were mosquito nets on... More

This is the only way that I can express what I felt in there, you can feel a italy family, relax, stay in a unique place, comfortable, beautiful, surrounded by olive trees, you could smell the italy essence. You never have to miss the breakfast was the most delicious bread and espresso that I ate in all my trip. We... More

Great hotel near Ciampino airport, just outside of Rome. Huge territory, nice terrace overlooking the city where you can have a nice dinner. Loft style spacious and elegant suites. Staff was also very friendly and helpful with whatever we asked. They were kind enough to let us make a couple international calls free of charge. The hotel is fairly small,... More

Due to cancellation of our flight home, we had to stay overnight and because we did not want to go back into Rome centre but rather closer to Ciampino airport we decided to stay at this Residenza. What a find! It's a beautifully renovated 19th century winery, surrounded by a huge green garden with palm trees, so very elegant and... More

Great for proximity to the airport. We stayed in a large suite on 2 levels. The kids went upstairs and we stayed downstairs. The bathroom was lovely and very clean. The grounds were also very pleasant, quiet and well maintained. The best part of this hotel though, is the welcome. Look out for Sergio! He was great, full of information... More

Very close to airport. However the shuttle doesn't run before 7am. Front desk closes over night but they were flexible in letting us pay in advance and leave the key in the room. The rooms are incredibly priced for the space by European standards. The grounds are unique and interesting and not the normal industrial hotel experience. There isn't a... More

It is a wonderful hotel (former winery) near the Ciampino airport, and a short drive by car from Rome. The locatuon is remote and quiet, but convenient, with lots of free parking spaces available in a safe guarded area around the hotel. The room was not very big, but very nicely furnished, clean, and comfortable. Wonderful breakfast, helpful and friendly... More

We moved here after a bad experience at a chain hotel on the outskirts of Rome, and it was a great relief to find a real gem! This is a small hotel with large rooms (we had the suite, which would be comfortable even for a family of 4 with "American" expectations), good internet, and decent breakfast. In January (not...
