The room was clean comfortable accommodation, some noise from aircraft but most cut out by double glazing and blinds. Reception staff were a mixture, some pleasant some a bit stand offish. The walk to the station is about 15 minutes but once there the train into Rome is €1.50 for the 15 minute journey past race horses training and an... More

Don't know how could they claim on their description 'few meters from the airport' when is at least 15 min drive. Quite 70' fashioned, not so clean and the shuttle for the airport was also non included. Thank god the room was clean and all but I won't consider it again as isn't even cheap.

The hotel itself was lovely, clean and inviting! The staff were polite and we were given fresh towels every day! We stayed for 3 nights which was just enough for us! The only downside was the run way for Ciampino airport right out back! After the first night we got used to the noise but it still made for a... More

The last two days our trip in Italy were in Rome. We had an early flight to Stansted flying from Ciampino airport. The fact that we had a booked this hotel made our lives a lot easier. €1.50 from Roma Termini to Ciampino and a 10min walk to the hotel. Our flight was at 06:30 the following morning and the... Clean and normal, with normal staff. You can ask for a shuttle to airport for 5 euros per person. Walking to the hotel from train station not really pleasant. Additional breakfast is paid. In general its a place to stay shortly.

If you don't mind the noise of the planes taking off and landing - and we did not mind, as we were aware of the location of the hotel, that is next to the airport - then the hotel is a perfect base for Rome sightseeing. It is well connected to buses, trains and subway and if you happen to... More

Considering it is a budget place to stay my experience was not that great. I got a very cramped room on the ground floor with an even smaller bathroom but the room did have an AC along with just the minimum amount of space to walk around if I got down from the bed. The restaurant was in the basement... More

Reception staff were very welcoming and friendly, and let us leave our bag in their office for the last day as we had a late flight home so we could go into Rome. Room was well appointed, fridge which was really handy, balcony, large bathroom and lots of electrical sockets. 10 minute walk to the station and 15 minutes into... More

This is a good stop-off hotel if you're using Ciampino. I'd follow Darlene's advice regarding travel from the airport to the hotel, but if you're arriving in Rome by rail or you're in Rome city centre going out to the hotel, it's worth while negotiating with a taxi from there. The fixed tariff from Roma Termini to Ciampino is 30Euro,... More
