Ocotal is a surprisingly quiet beach in an excellent location. Los Almendros is a collection of condos right on the beach. They are privately owned, with an excellent rental system. Most units have multiple bedrooms, are well-furnished, and reasonably priced. We have returned many times and will continue.

Los Almendros is located in a beautiful spot, right by the beach. Condo we stayed at (#30) does not have comfortable place to sit on, bare bones accomodations, worn furniture, no Internet connection. The grounds at Los Almendros should be improved. It looks old and needs a face lift. It is overrated. Be cautious of the exaggerated advertisements.

What a comfortable quiet clean place. The young lady Stephanie was most gracious and helpful. If you want to stay in abeautiful setting with a complete kitchen this is the place. You are far enough from the city to enjoy the serenity.
