We were a group of 7 guys cycling from Dieppe to Angers and were looking for place to stay on route. Could not recommend the Manoir de Coulandon highly enough. Patrick and Annie made us more than welcome with a dinner of snails and other local produce. The calvados did not help the cycling the next day !!!!. Our only... More

One of the most delightful places I've ever stayed. Old farmhouse beautifully restored by Patrick and decorated in French provincial style with Annie's flair. Welcoming, friendly, comfortable, in lovely garden in peaceful rural setting, yet near Argentan. Dinner and breakfast excellent, with the emphasis on local Normandy produce, the Manoir's own kitchen garden, Annie's delicious cooking and her own specialities,... More

We stayed here for one night on a cycling trip around Normandy. Initially the place was quite hard to find as there is no sign on the road, however, after asking some locals we found it and were delighted with the beautiful old building. Our room was on the ground floor and was beautiful, as was the en-suite. We even... More

Hello Thank you very much for coming here and for your kind remarks. It is true that the English breakfast is not often served in guest frensh rooms .We now put ham and cheese. At another time. Annie and Patrick More

We have just stayed here for two nights. Our room was beautiful with great views of surrounding countryside. The breakfast was ok but after a week in france I'm getting a bit bored of bread... Lovely gardens...we managed ok even though the hosts do not speak any English.

This is a quaint farmhouse set in rural France and it does not fail to deliver on the rustic charm. We were met by our warm and friendly host (who does not speak English but this does not detract from the hospitality in anyway) and shown to our room. The view from the window was from a picture postcard, out... More

We had a lovely room, king size bed, private sitting area, in the countryside & only 5 minutes away from the 'old city' in Argentan. The hosts were very helpful as to what to see & do in the area. It is close to Mont Ormel ( a very educational WW II site), Falaise where WIlliam the Conqueror had his... More

The manoir de Coulandon is a marvelously restored 15th century farmhouse in lovely and quiet surroundings (though very close to Argentan). The hosts are charming, very helpful, and make you feel at home... We stayed in the "Chambre Rose", a spacious and beautifully decorated room. The bed is extremely comfortable, and the superb bathroom has all the modern necessities. Breakfast... More

Lovely B&B in 15th century manor located in quiet surroundings just outside Argentan. We were in the Chambre Rose, a nice, good-sized room and bathroom with windows on three sides – overlooking the garden, fields, and yard. Nice breakfast. Friendly and welcoming hosts. No English spoken.

We stayed 2 nights and loved the calm atmosphere of this impressive, 15th century property which has been lovingly restored to its former glory. There is a definite wow factor as you draw up in the courtyard. We enjoyed a delicious table d'hotes on one evening, sampling lots of home produce including aperitif, salads, fruit, and local cider and calvados.... More

Annie and Patrick have lovingly restored this farmhouse and the 3 rooms are well decorated, comfortable beds and great shower rooms. Annie was happy to show us all the rooms. We stayed for three nights. Our room La chambre aux tomettes was on the ground floor and had its own separate entrance. You could hear the television from the sitting room... More
