A large group, friends and family, came together at this lovely spot to celebrate living and eating well. Our host was friendly with its patron and quite-famous chef, a far-larger than life character and a true charmer, so we got the very best treatment. We had four main courses and two demi-courses. All were delicious, some surprising. The wine-list is... More

My friend and I stayed for a full week in Le Viscos and we had a very warm welcome. They help you with what a cyclist needs. The restaurant was great, we really loved the food and we received every night a bowl of pasta extra for free because we were cyclists, we really appreciated that. When we wanted an... More

A first class hotel in the beautiful village of St Savin. The hotel was spotlessly clean and had a restaurant run by a chef of repute. However we felt that the chef went on a bit explaining each meal and pointing out the dishes we were getting for free. All in all a great experience.

This hotel is in a very small village in the middle of a lovely region. The hotel is heated and airconditioned - necessary given it was 37 C the time we were there. Unless you are used to small rooms I would select the largest room type possible. We ate at the hotel and the chef was warm, helpful and... More

A delightful small hotel we stopped in on a cycling trip across the Pyrenees. The hotel staff were really helpful rushing to wash cycling kit for 8 tired cyclists. In a lovely small village the food was first class. It is always a good sign when the restaurant is full of locals. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. Worth a... More

Lourdes is just a wasteland of hotels.. and we were travelling with an infant so chose to stay here instead. Gorgeous, quiet little town - hotel itself is a little run down and can use some improvements especially in the linen, carpet and drapery departments but other than that it was a pleasant stay. Make sure you dont stay on... More

This is a charming little hotel nestled in the Pyrenees. Staff here are very friendly and accommodating and will assist with arranging itinerary's if you need it. Room 104 "The George Sand" room was a Grand Comfort room. Being a hotel in a small village peoples ideas of grand might vary as the room was more quaint than grand. Rooms... More

My husband and I stayed one night at Le Viscos on our way from Biarritz to Collioure and we loved it. As another reviewer commented, the hotel is in a very pretty village which is home to an ancient abbey. The double bedded room (Reine Hortensia) was a little on the small side for a junior suite but for one... More
