Just spent a few days at Les Rochers Hotel in Saint Savin and had a wonderful time. John and Jane are marvelous hosts. The hotel is situated at the base of the Pyrenees and the views are spectacular. At breakfast I just look out the window and admire the view. The prices are very reasonable and it's a joy to... More

Boyfriend chose this hotel as it is close to the Route Du Tourmale. He did good:) Our room had a very stylish antique bed, lovely framed artwork. Cosy and warm overall atmosphere that makes you feel like you are in a cosy chalet. The English couple were lovely and they also provide a very good value laundry service. Lots of... More

Once years ago on a camping trip in the Pyrenees when the weather turned bad we found this hotel as an ideal place to spend a stormy night. This happened again now and we were again welcomed warmly. It was like coming home and all was made possible for us, cosy and warm clean place and a hot bath! for... More

We drove through the Pyrenees without knowing where we would stop for the night. Fortunately, a guidebook described Saint-Savin as a place we would like, and we followed the signs to Les Rochers (after a quick check on TripAdvisor reviews). The room was comfortable, the view from our window was stupendous, dinner was delicious, and the hosts were charming. A... More

My wife and I found Les Rochers to be one of those gems you find rarely. This is such a lovely place to stay and eat, even the locals eat there and that says something of the quality of the food. The rooms are fabulous and nothing is too much trouble for John and Jane. The atmosphere is like visiting... More

We've shortly returned from a wonderful holiday in the High Pyrenees - and no small part of the experience was the welcome from John and Jane and the comfort of our room (everything worked, including the excellent shower, with hot water always on tap). John's food was very good, imaginative and of high quality - though I could have wished... More

W stayed 3 nights. The view of the mountains from our small window was amazing. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. The owners are very helpful and friendly. The community lounge/dining room is well furnished, comfortable and beautiful views of the mountains and surrounding area. It has a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere and a great place to... John and Jane Kirk are to be commended for running such a friendly and delightful small hotel in this simply gorgeous village of St Savin, only 20 minutes drive south from Lourdes. Nothing is too much trouble as they open up their home to those who stay. The beauty of St Savin is that it is a little off the... More

We have expectations of 2 star hotels and this hotel exceeded them. We only found it by accident - using a map, not the GPS - and stopped in the village to stretch the legs. The hotel has excellent lounge areas, plenty of reading, games and toys for children. Outside areas are sheltered, tidy and inviting. The dining room is... More
