This is a bit of a cheat as we didn't actually stay here, but these people were so helpful that we wanted to put it on the record. We had booked here on booking.com but it turned out in fact that no room was available. Not only did the management manage to track down our mobile phone number and contact... more

No need to wax lyrical about this place - it has all been said by other reviewers, all true. Beautiful hotel, delicious food, warm friendly hosts, everything made us feel a bit special. Can't wait to go back. more

My wife and I stayed here at the end of September for 4 nights, together with our 20 month old son. The hotel is situated in beautiful grounds in the middle of South East Brittany farmland. Our son, Sam, was immediately impressed by the amount of conkers and sweet chestnuts to be hunted down, as well as the access to... more

We spent 2 nights here one weekend before a party and had a wonderful experience. We were very badly organised and got lost on the way, and arrived at 11pm. John greeted us with a drink and made us a lovely supper at midnight!! We felt so comfortably here and are just about to go back again. I suspect this... more

We have just returned from spending three nights at Le Domaine de Bodeuc (3 couples).. We chose this hotel as we were attending a wedding locally. We had a wonderful weekend, the hotel, food and surroundings were excellent. Nothing was too much bother for the owners Sylvie and Jean and we appreciated all they did for us. Although this hotel... more

I agree with all the comments above. We stayed in the family room in the barn conversion which was excellent. Very friendly owners, food was wonderful and Sylvie also went out of her way to prepare dinner for our two children (5 and 2). Also good recommendations for things to do off the beaten track. more

Nothing could have been improved at the"Domaine de Bodeuc" as everything was excellent. We had a very warm welcome from Jean & Sylvie Leterre who were wonderful hosts. There were 6 people travelling together in our small group and we had 3 rooms in the beautifully converted barn annexe. Nothing was too much trouble and Jean & Sylvie were very... more

A wonderfully relaxing stay. Jean and Sylvie, the owners treated you as if you were one of their invited guests. Service a bit eractic, but the great food and houseparty atmosphere made up for it.. Both very helpful on ideas on what to do, Sylvie even told us the best place to watch the Rugby World Cup in Nantes. Lovely... more

My wife and I have just returned from a marvellous 4 day break at the Domaine De Bodeuc. The hotel is a gloriously eccentric French manor house with converted stables, beautifully and sensitively renovated. We stayed in a large immaculate room in the stables which could not be faulted and the food was excellent. Most of all, the new owners... more

Guided by a previous contributor to tripadvisor, we booked a weekend at the chateau, Domaine de Bodeuc. Jean and Sylvie Leterre have bought the hotel since this previous review. Jean and Sylvie have enhanced the hotel in every way. From their warm welcome, genuine engagement with their guests, attention to detail such as the provision of fresh flowers, not to... more
