Lovely overnight stay on way to cote d'azur. Small and friendly. Interesting and comfortable decor, a pool in the garden just big enough to cool off and have a bit of exercise. I didn't eat as I was travelling on my own but observations of what diners were eating looked delicious. Would go back and stay and explore the area... More

Sadly we only stayed one night, but were truly amazed. The service, rooms and location was outstanding. Situated in a pretty village surrounded by vineyards. The staff were very helpful. The family room was huge and sumptuous. Breakfast was the best we have ever had. All local and home made produce. So tasty and plentiful. Fresh eggs, fruit, compote, breads,... More

This is absolutely our sort of hotel, small, impeccably furnished in a very modern style with an owner who has deserved been awarded a Michelin star for his restaurant. Add some great friendly staff, some sunshine and a nice garden and a swimming pool. Perfection. Although there are some other great restaurants around to miss the degustation meal would be... More

This was our 4th stay in as many years but this time there was a problem! - We arrived with another couple (Cousins) but our booking had been mistakenly cancelled(!) so there was only one room left. Disaster..... However.... Our cousins took the one room (the new suite which the hotel let us have for the original room price) and... More

We arrived at this charming hotel after 6 hours on Vespa scooters from Annecy, and received the most fantastic welcome by the reception. We are both in our 60's and they told us we were like teenagers...this helps to make you love a hotel! The interior design is done in the most incredibly modern style, and our bedroom led out... My wife and I stayed for one night in June as part of a walking holiday in Burgundy. Wasn't sure what to expect but from the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was an absolute joy. Both our room and the hotel were decorated to the very highest standard, with exceptional attention to detail throughout. The staff... More

We were two couples traveling together.I read about this hotel in a travel magazine a couple of years ago and saved the article It was more then we expected from what we read. The hotel is charming and just beautiful. The owners Valerie and Cyril are friendly and very engaging. The rooms are beautiful, clean, large and very comfortable. Breakfast... More

We were en-route to Monte Carlo by road and Auberge du Paradis was a welcome night stop, following 530 miles of driving from home. We were warmly welcomed by Maitre d' Jean-Christoph who competently and charmingly looks after the meeting and greeting of guests and much of what else is involved in running a premier small hotel. As we were... More

We went here a while ago, but it was one of the most beautiful and amazing hotels that I have ever stayed at. The tasting menu was AMAZING and the room was stylish and had the most gorgeous free standing bath tub with a sky light above it. There was also little touches, such as heart shaped sugar cubes and... More

This hotel in Saint Amour, is a wonderful base to stay and to then explore the Beaujolais region. We stayed in the Nigelle room, which was beautifully decorated, with plenty of room including a great size shower and bathroom area. The breakfasts are amazing...a real effort and attention to detail in particularly with the homemade condiments. We had ordinary weather,... More
