We went here a while ago, but it was one of the most beautiful and amazing hotels that I have ever stayed at. The tasting menu was AMAZING and the room was stylish and had the most gorgeous free standing bath tub with a sky light above it. There was also little touches, such as heart shaped sugar cubes and... More

This hotel in Saint Amour, is a wonderful base to stay and to then explore the Beaujolais region. We stayed in the Nigelle room, which was beautifully decorated, with plenty of room including a great size shower and bathroom area. The breakfasts are amazing...a real effort and attention to detail in particularly with the homemade condiments. We had ordinary weather,... More

The setting of this restaurant with rooms is in the beautiful countryside of the Beaujolais region and easily accessible from the A6. The building itself, from the outside, is charming with red tables and red flowers. The heart theme is throughout the premises as the village is called St. Amour. We were met by the Maitre d'hotel on arrival and... More

We stayed 3 nights at this lovely hotel. We had the Sesame room, which was modern and gorgeous! The bathroom was very spacious (his/hers sides) with tub and large walk in shower. The view from the room overlooked their nice size pool and displayed the vineyards in the distance. We regretted not bringing swimwear as there was also a hot... More

We stayed here one night and loved this small hotel. We stayed in the Gingembre room which was large and elegant (including an open plan bathroom). This was the only hotel that we stayed in which provided tea & coffee making facilities in the room (including a heart shaped sugar cube). Dinner is a 3 hour affair of seven courses,... More

Auberge du Paradis is a lovely small hotel near Saint Amour Bellevue in Beaujolais, close to Macon. From the warm greeting on our arrival by the engaging maitre d'hotel, to the well appointed and beautifully decorated room, to the delightful dinner filled with many surprises, and to the very special breakfasts, we were enchanted by our stay here. The owners... More

We stayed at the hotel for my birthday this year and it was wonderful. Saint-Amour is a cute little town (hearts everywhere!) and close to wine tasting. The hotel is quirky, comfortable AND modern -- a nice combination. Loved the many common areas and real candles at night. The restaurant is fabulous -- lots of flavors and ideas and terrific... We stayed in Cumin - smaller than other rooms but a little gem, comfortable and chic. Breakfast was very special. We felt cared for and looked after. A wonderful base to explore the Maconais. Go and enjoy!

This was our second visit to the Auberge du Paradis and it was as lovely as four years ago. We stayed for two nights with our adult daughters and had a shortened version of the tasting menu the first evening and the full menu the second evening, which was my husband's birthday. The food was sublime - we had eaten... More
