We have usually used another Najeti hotel when we have come across for a short break but on this occasion we wanted to be nearer to St Omer so made the change and were not disappointed. The chateau is set in pleasant grounds with an impressive aspect. Our room was on the first floor and there is no lift. We... More

We wanted a quiet short break and the Chateau Tilques was just that. The staff were welcoming and the hotel itself was fine. We stayed in a luxe room, which, although a little small was well equipped. It was in the main house. There are more modern rooms in a separate building, which did not have the same feel about... If you like the lap of luxury this is for you! Some really interesting history as well - check it out when you get to your room. We have a double aspect suite overlooking the main driveway and were looked after from start to finish. The food was excellent and whilst not a wine expert there was a full list... More

Either the Chateau is under new management or I just had a bad experience first time round. I visited Hotel Chateau Tilques with my boyfriend last week after deciding to give the Chateau another chance. I stayed in the annex a couple of years ago with friends and was far from impressed with the service/ food but this time round... More

In a group of 14. The office booked the hotel and dinner for us late. A nice little earner for them, we had 14 rooms all were clean and comfortable. We only saw the hotel in the dark. But it's very impressive as you arrive up the drive. Dinner was a little over complicated. But good. I'd like to try... More

Have known Chateau Tilques for nearly forty years-through several changes of ownership. During this time it has gone from 5 star to 3 star (my own star system) .Tilques is now part of a small hotel chain and this shows, everything now seems done to a price and standards have slipped a bit. The whole property needs a tidy up... More

I have been staying at this Hotel and enjoying its progress since 2000 both with work and these days socially with friends. This time we stayed in the Chateau, it was perfect the room and view replicated exactly what you would imagine from a french chateau. We enjoyed an excellent evening meal and breakfast. The waitress and the barman were... More
