We stayed in the modern annexe, room £20 more, but you get more space and a nice garden view. Treat for our last night on holiday. Everything was very clean and worked well. Good wifi - thanks. Nice bar area for an aperitif. Parking is good. Nice French feel to the hotel and dining room. Slightly to be expected, but... More

It's 07.30 and I'm sitting in bed in the Chateau writing this! We leave today back to awful noisy, traffic-clogged England and we will miss France and this chateau which was our last night. I have stayed here many times starting in the 80's when I stayed every month on business. Then it was superb - Especially the restaurant. The... More

I stayed, along with two friends, for one night at this interesting hotel, where I was allocated a disappointingly small, ‘attic-style’ double room, with a small bathroom (some better rooms are, I believe located in a (newish?) annex nearby). The hotel grounds were pleasantly landscaped, with paths, lawns and a lake. My room had no A/C and limited English language... More

Stayed one night on way back to Eurotunnel. Booked a room in the chateau but found that there is no lift and the room was on the second floor, which would have been a struggle for us oldies. Were offered a first floor room in the annex with balcony at 20euro supplement and lady receptionist kindly accompanied us and carried... More

It is hard to find because the general road signs in France are appalling, but this chateau hotel is worth it, worth every big penny! Want to get away from it all before rushing back to noisy Britian or elsewhere, then come her for luxurious comfort, splendid food and charming staff. The hotel is based in a 19C country house... A bit tricky to find if coming in from St Omer with all it's roundabouts, but worth the effort. Set in beautiful grounds full of wildlife, it provided a restful last night for our holiday. We had booked a room in the Chateau, but it was a bit small, so for 20e we were offered a much bigger room with... More

This is a little gem - don't tell anyone! I'm going back very very soon. You just would not believe it exists- down a country road at the back of a village . When you arrive you can't fail to be romanticised by the pretty front on the hotel and the location . A great hotel for country walks ,... More

We have stayed at this hotel many times over the years and have always enjoyed the welcome, the ambience, reasonable rooms and excellent food. This time, we were driving back from Italy and decided at the last minute we would see if we could break our journey so rang through for a last minute cheap rate. Although the hotel was... More

Beautiful chateau about 20 minutes from the Channel Tunnel so great location to stop on the way back to the UK from France. Lovely pool. Stunning grounds and the family rooms are excellent with a generous size room downstairs and two single beds in a loft / mezzanine level. Will def be back.

Old fashioned, very pretty hotel with beautiful grounds with path down to the water. Staff very professional and spoke very good English (we did try to speak French too, and they were very patient!) Lovely young waiter in the restaurant, very knowledgable about the menu and the "fromages"! Childrens 16Euro menu avail from the adult one. Good food, fantastic desserts... More
