This is a unique hotel in a really beautiful setting - miles of countryside surrounds this small village Chateau - so if it is peace and quiet you are after, this is the place to come. The gardens are beautifully laid out and well kept. We brought our two dogs with us and so did not stay in the main... More

We we're put in a small room in the attic which is definitely not big enough for 4 people. They don't make it very easy for luggage as there is only stairs. The grounds are beautiful and the layout of the restaurant is as well but the food is not well catered for children or vegetarians as everything is meat... More

Anyone not rating this place must have stayed in some pretty fabulous places and have money to burn. We are critical if places don't live up to their claims and we have high standards and expectations of any class of hotel.First impressions as you drive into the small, lovely but typical french village are good. Reception was very welcoming and friendly... More

What can we say? We certainly didn't share any of the negative experiences of some of the other reviews below. Our stay was outstanding. Whilst we did not have the pleasure of meeting the owners and experiencing their "attitude" (despite - admittedly - their visibly eccentric presence throughout our stay) the welcome extended to ourselves and our 3 children on... Very difficult reviewing this hotel as we quite enjoyed it but it's not quite right. First it looks nothing like its photo, it is in dire need of smartening up both inside and out. Chuck out the plastic flowers and knick knacks, revamp the decor and it might pass muster. The garden is potentially lovely but the pond in the... More

I have been wanting to stay at this hotel for a long time but I was very disappointed in my room which to say the least was strange as the tea and coffee facility was in the bathroom. The room bore no resemblance to the one I booked and I was told I had an up grade rubbish. Restaurant was... More

We planned to stop here for the last two nights of our holiday having travelled in Spain and France. Our second stay following one night two years ago when we were disappointed not to have stayed longer. We prebooked dinner for the two nights as there were no other restaurants near. All the rooms are different and ours this time... More

This Chateau was our final stop on a 2000 mile road trip; we were so looking forward to this as the reviews seemed to lead us to believe this. On arrival we checked in a and shown our room which was on the top floor, with no lift and a very old rickety stair case, we said that the room... More

We stayed here on our last night in France. The room was beautifully decorated and the staff very helpful. We ate in the restaurant which was a gastronomic delight. We did not use the spa facililities due to time constraints but we will cetainly return.

The chateau is very beautiful and well furnished. It is isolated and far from any other attraction in the region. The restaurant is very good and prices are not that high. We have booked a standard room for 3 nights but we asked to sleep in a prestige one (paying the difference) in order to have a bathtub in the... More
