Our group of 9 touring cyclists thoroughly enjoyed our well earnt interlude at Ostape as part of our 8 day ride through the lower Pyrenees. Delightful rooms/suites combined with rural scenery, delicious food matched by stunning sunsets on the terrace and the child like glee we experienced in zipping around the roads in golf buggies. Small and interesting wine list... More

This is our second visit to this excellent hotel. It's idyllic location is somewhat unusual. The rooms are in blocks of four or five rooms set into their own hillside plots. The recreation areas and swimming pool are reached by golf buggies which is an unusual experience. We were part of a car tour and made very welcome. We had... More

Had a lovely restful peaceful break. The room we had was stunning, the views were amazing, in fact I cant fault the accommodation at all. It was 5 star perfect. I loved the golf buggy thing they have going on and found it really good fun getting to the various places in the grounds and didn't even crash once !... More

We, aged 30, stayed at this awesome place for three nights. The hotel is outstanding, the food superb but unfortunaty with little choice and the menu incl starter didn't change in four days. The area around the swimming pool needs some update but the rest is clean and in good conditions. If you like a very quiet place, this is... More

This was a chance visit. I didn't know the hotel, and didn't hear about it. I was just looking for a quiet place for a small 3 day retreat. To be away for just a couple days. Well i was mighty impressed by he site and the accommodation. Of course being part of the Small Luxury Hotel family is not... More

We stayed in Auberge Ostape in June 2013 for 4 nights, with our 3 kids and my parents in law. The hotel composes of a few different houses in regional style that are connected by small roads winding through the hilly countryside and a forest. You have to leave your car at the entrance and move around in electric carts:... More

Stayed here in May 2012 and again in May 2013 with our large dog; booked directly by e-mail for both stays; arrived by car both times; in 2012, stayed two nights (enjoyed one dinner and two breakfasts); in 2013, stayed one night. Parking is at the bottom of the property and two minutes by electric buggy from the rooms/restaurant -... More

The attractive, although isolated location, does not alter the fact that you cannot take your car (and you definitely need a car) anywhere near your room, the reception, dining room or swimming pool, but are forced to leave it in a tiny and wholly inadequate car park with insufficient spaces for the cars. From this tightly packed car park you... More

When was the last time you heard total silence? This magical spot on a green mountain top will remind you of lifes true pleasures. If you are looking to get away from it all, this is the spot. Suites are beautiful, food is excellent and service discreet. We loved buzzing around the site in our golf cart. Plan on eating... More

Ostape deserves all the raving reviews it can get, and I feel sorry that I got to write this only three months after our wonderful stay in Ostape in July 2012. Many things have been written about the location and the magical views and the tranquility of the place, I will not repeat those, they are all true. I remember... More
