This hotel is right next to the single track railway line (unused now I believe) and with an excellent view of the ancient Pont d'Enfer - the Bridge of Hell which crosses the River Nive. Our room was small but stylish though the shower room needed a bit of updating. Dinner was served out on the slightly scruffy terrace under... More

Hotel Noblia lies along the platform of the railway station of Bidarray. There is no railway service anymore, but the bus stops outside. The really beautiful roman Noblia bridge is right outside as wall. The room was ok, but filled with flies when I opened the window. Unfortunately, flies is a problem many places in the area. I can handle... More

Stayed at the hotel while walking the GR10. Warm welcome, nice room. We had dinner and the food was very good. Breakfast was the regular continental version, but the best croiassant and bread that we got on our two weeks in France. We tried to get back a week later but it was fully booked.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Chose half Board for the cost advantage, and found the staff very friendly and helpful. Owner and his wife are quite old and quiet, but run the hotel well. Right next to tha station, but no disturbing noise. Would go there again

I'm delighted that hotels like Hotel Noblia survive. It's quite eccentric, unmodernised, very good value, fantastic home-cooked food and service. The bed was not the best, but otherwise, it was a lovely place to stay.

We stayed at the Hotel Noblia for 3 nights during a holiday to the French Basque region. The village of Bidarray is on the GR10 walking route and is surrounded by stunning countryside, various walking routes and pretty villages to explore. The hotel is located at the bottom end of the village (we didn't realise that there was any more... More
