Knowing the last comments on tripadvisor we tried the restaurant between friends. It was absolutely awesome and really cheap. Food especially meat was splendid. Local wines are perfect and cheap. We could visit the domain thanks to the (obliging) director, It was like a piece of a year in Provence! Moreover it was very quiet (relais du silence) this establishment... More

Very kind and careful staff. Cosy and spacious room with modern amenities. Delicious breakfast with local products. Enjoyable and quiet surroundings. I would and will definitely go back to the Moulin also for its inventing cuisine and friendly service.

In a quiet location among vineyards and lavender fields, this old flour mill has plenty of charm and been renovated with taste. We were greeted with friendly efficiency at reception. Our bedroom, ‘ la Petite Marquise’, on the second floor was reached via a couple of flights of stone stairs and overlooked a courtyard with a large plane tree. The... More

We stopped here on our way back from Girona to Amsterdam. Le Moulin is in a beautiful location, off the beaten track although very close to the motorway . So a perfect pit stop if traveling through France. The charming hotel is a restored flour mill surrounded by vineyards. It's beautiful. We stayed in room #11. The room was ok.... More

We stayed one night in the hotel as we were attending a wedding in the region. The hotel and the room were nice and clean. The personnel was friendly and helpful. We stayed in a room with garden view (to the back of the hotel) on the top floor. The room was big and the bath room was spacious too.... More

Hello, Thaks a lot for your review of the hotel. We're doing our best to improve our service and be assured we'll find some solution about the wooden floor next winter during our annual closure. We will be happy to welcome you again in Valaurie and hope you'll get some time to enjoy the swimming pool ! Best regards, More

My wife and I arrived without a reservation but were made to feel very welcome and offered a choice of rooms. We stayed in Le Pigeonnier, a room at the top of the building but the climb was very easy (even though we are a bit aged) and was more than compensated by the size of the room and the... More

We had a comfortable bedroom. The hotel is lovely in a very beautiful setting. We had a delicious dinner on the first night, which we enjoyed eating outdoors. The staff is very welcoming and charming. The area around the hotel has amazingly beautiful villages and lots to see. We hope to come again.

The area around Grignan is well served with hotels, but we rated this one a very good find. Set in four hectares of attractive garden, the building is interesting -- a lovely restoration of (presumably) old farm buildings. The garden hides a very clean and inviting swimming pool and a tennis court. Four grades of room are offered: "with shower",... More

We had a very comfortable afternoon and overnight stay here. As it was a Monday the restaurant was closed for dinner but they booked us in at a restaurant in Grignan about 6 Km away. The restaturant was Cote Patio and we had a delightful meal there. The owner was charming and we had the 30 Euro menu which had,... More
