We'd been undecided as to whether to go self catering or a catered chalet so decided to do something different and booked to stay at L'Accroche Coeur. We weren't disappointed. We were a little worried that as there were mostly French people staying here we would feel a bit isolated but we needn't have worried. The owners and staff spoke... More

We booked the Chalet Hotel through Crystal Ski Holidays as a base for skiing in La Rosiere and into La La Thuile in Italy. A very good place to stay and just a leg warming distance of 150 metres to reach the Eucherts Express chairlift each morning. The chalet is shared with the owners who are involved with ski instruction... More

We were disappointed with our room, it was tiny, should have been a single but they squeezed in a double bed! It was however very clean. You have to like dogs if you stay here as they are everywhere, even in the Dining room and there are dog hairs on all the sofas even on the terrace! Madam is very... More

We stayed here for three nights, mid-January and would recommend this hotel wholeheartedly. Modern yet built and decorated in a traditional style, spotlessly clean, very helpful and friendly owners and staff and three gorgeous well behaved hotel dogs (which don't intrude on guests but add to the homely atmosphere). We ate dinner here on two nights, the fixed menu which... More

We didn't stay here,we were across the road in late come blanche. This restaurant was recommended by our rep and boy was she right. Nice welcome from the staff and you feel right at home. The menu choice is small but all the usual proper mountain food is here. We had a racklette. Utterly superb . Massive block of cheese... More

We stayed at L'Accroche Coeur in March when the sun shone and the snow was pretty good too! Booking - we booked direct by email and paid a deposit by credit card - that all seemed to work pretty well. The welcome was good - I speak OK French which definitely helped with the booking and communications; though I suspect... More

We stayed at Chimes Blanches (over the road) and had dinner at L Accroche Coeur a couple of times in January. It was excellent and we wish we had stayed there. Our children and grandchildren were made to feel very welcome, but I guess they are pretty well behaved, they loved the Saint Bernard! My step daughter went back and... More

This chalet style hotel is beautifully decorated, cosy, clean and modern. The friendly atmosphere made my week alone as comfortable as ever. The owners take interest in each and every one of their customers and provide you with anything you need. The hotel is well situated, the rooms are very comfortable and the food is delicious. On top of that... More

Good food. Speedy arrival. Nice service. But boss who does not like kids. Terrible for that kind of restaurant in a holiday destination ! Avoid it. It is a waste if time and money. The good looking style is a pretext.

It is a matter of fact our restaurant is not a play ground and we can point out that the kids did not behave properly. The rest of our clients do not have to put up with noisy kids. If the kids cannot stay still at the table, it is better for all the others guests that they do not... More

What more can a hotel offer? Stunning chalet style hotel with a magnificent central lounge/bar and restaurant with an enormous south facing sun terrace. I dont understand the critics of the welcome here, We were welcomed with open arms by the entire staff/family, whom all played their respective roles perfectly. Annie in particular would do anything in her power to... More
