First of all the photo displayed on trip advisor is not of the hotel brasil in tabatinga, but the one in manaus. Secondly, the hotel brasil in tabatinga is a cheap uncomfortable hotel, also fairly dirty. Tabatinga itself is a hole with absolutely nothing attractive. Do not go there it is a waste of time and money. You better stay... More

Very basic facility ; no hot water; no frills. But good location close to restaurants and internet access close by. VERY helpful staff who guided us through to customs immigration procedure for taking the boat to Manaus.

Hotel Brasil is owned by the same company that owns the 'Golfinho' fast boat that runs between Iquitos and Tabatinga. All rooms are along an exterior corridor that is washed every morning.
