Stayed one night July 2015, 3 adults, 2 kids. Good location right in town. The room was comfortable. 2 clean bathrooms. The beds were great. There was a big safe parking lot. Desk staff was unfriendly bordering on rude. Cleaning staff was great. Nice breakfast in the morning for 2 of us. Cost me $90 US. We left after one... More

Very clean and great comfortable rooms with good bathrooms. I always feel very safe here. Great coffee in the morning and you can sit in the comfy lobby while you drink it. There is something special about being in the mountains and this hotel fits in perfectly. A great little restaurant connected to the hotel with very good service. Centrally... More

Travelling solo and new to Jarabacoa, I wanted to stay in town for the first night. Although hostel Jarabacoa offered a slightly better deal at 1500 pesos for a room (vs. 1680 at brisas del yaque), I decided to stay at this place. It offers good value for money, the rooms are very clean with high ceilings, aircon, a small... More

Overall, my experience at the Hotel Brisas del Yaque was standard: standard location, friendly staff, simple, clean but a bit noisy room. The negative: my credit card number was possibly stolen at this hotel and used. Some background: I used my credit card only twice during my trip to the Dominican Republic - in this hotel, and at the Hotel... More

Looking for just the right hotel in Jarabacoa can be a crap shoot. Quality ranges from horrible to average. Please do not get your hopes up if you think your gonna find US quality in Jarabacoa. Hotet Brisas de Jaque is more or less clean and located in the heart of town, which makes it probably your best bet for... More

I came into jarabacoa on the bus and walked over to the hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable. The first room they gave me was on the back side of the hotel, which was loud, but they happily relocated me to the front side which was nice and quiet. There is free wireless Internet and coffee in the... More

Highly recommend this hotel. The only quiet place in Jarabacoa. Lovely restaurant and bar serving excellent cocktails and great food. Super value - the large airy rooms had aircon and fridges. They also found us a great guide (Monchy) who took us out for a fantastic day visiting a coffee plantation and factory, two waterfalls and the confluence of two... More

Served its purpose. It allowed us to get a great night sleep and rest at a safe and hospitable location. The restaurant was convenient and the food was great at a more than reasonable price. Staying there was a much better choise than staying with family, much more comfortable and with privacy.

I stayed at this hotel (number 2)for a few days. It is like 3 minute walk from the Caribe Tours busstation although you will be welcomed by motoconchos there. The hotel is a block away from Parque Duarte and there are several groceries, restaurants bars a few blocks away. On the corner you can eat local dominican food on the... More

I decided to take a trip to see Jarabacoa while staying in Santiago. I was able to make a phone reservation a couple days ahead form Santiago. Upon arrival the staff was helpful and even spoke english. I asked about a waterfall tour and within 5 minutes a guide was called and arrived to discuss my options. My room was... More
