My sisters and I stayed here for 4 nights. This hostal was the nicest one I have stayed in, having traveled through Panama and the DR. It is about a 20 min walk to down town. It is actually a house with 3 rentable bed rooms, one room with one queen bed, one room with a king bed, and one... More

My friend and I had a great experience in the Jarabacoa Mountain Hostel in late June. We traveled around the Dominican Republic for about three weeks and this hostel was by far the best place that we stayed. The room was excellent, very comfortable beds, clean, mosquito nets, and a big TVs. We had a "communal" bathroom, but really it... More

My friends and I had a wonderful two nights in the Jarabacoa Mountain Hostel. Our positive experience started even before we arrived as Molly was very helpful via email as we planned out some of our activities. The lodging was off the beaten path, and absolutely charming with comfortable beds, free wifi and Netflix, books, games, a kitchen basically to... More

My second stay at Jarabacoa Hostel was excellent as my first one was. The Hostel is an ideal place to either having rest surronding by a peaceful athmosphere or practicing every kind of sport and leisure activities, such as cannoying, rafting, excursions ... Molly and her husband Rodolfo are kind enough to feel you as at home. Rooms are excellent... More

Unfortunately my parents and I had only booked this apartment for one night I could have stayed for a month! There's a nice garden area with chairs to hand out and lantern, a bookshelf with everything one can wish for (if you're familiar with English and German...might be that there are versions in other languages as well I didn't notice... We spent 3 nights here and we loved it! Molly and Rodolpho are very accommodating and can advise you about things to do around Jarabacoa. The rooms are big with comfortable beds and TV. The place is clean and there is a kitchen with free tea, coffee and drinking water; use of bikes is free as well. It´s true that... More

Loved it! Had a great time exploring the area including waterfalls and hiking. Very homey/cute living space. Felt very safe and welcomed by the owners. Also met some cool fellow travelers staying there. You cook your own food dobro v groceries; bonus though: coffee and laundry is included.
