I booked the hotel through the Hotel.com internet, the price for one twin room is almost double the price of the normal as it is high season in Furano. It doesn't include any breakfasts or dinners. Unlike other hotels in Japan resort area, the price usually includes breakfast. The area is up on the hill with quiet environment. I requested... More

Stayed here with my son and a group of friends on a skiing holiday to Japan. The staff were friendly and helpful for simple tasks but with limited english complex requests were difficult and frustrating at times. I have learnt that patience and persistence seem to go a long way when it comes to getting things sorted. When all else... More

The hotel is located on the best location. It has a cluster of small shops and a famous coffee shop. The station of the rope car is very near. Tomita garden is about ten minutes drive. We enjoy staying there.

I recommend this hotel if you want to visit Furano: http://www.natulux.com/index.php First,my nationality was China instead of Taiwan on the information card the hotel gave me.In my opinion that was not polite. Next, they offered me a smoking room instead of non-smoking.That wasn't what I booked. Third, the hotel is far to reach though it has great view, the only merit.Besides, many places are... More

The good : The hotel grounds are wonderful, like paradise. When you come in summer to escape the 35C days in Kansai, and have a good morning walk, it's like paradise. The flowering, forested grounds are extensive, with many walking paths. You can have a strenuous run or hourlong walk. It's great. The onsen is lovely in a modern way.... More

This is the 3rd time I stayed in this hotel. As other Prince hotel in Japan, there is a lot of leisure facilities. As I went in the peak season, I paid a high rate. However, the room layout is bad although it claims to be bigger than the standard room. The extra space goes to the corridor to the... More

The hotel has nice surroundings including many activities. There is a bakery next to the hotel which is a good place for breakfast. There is an onsen onsite. The room is okay but smells moldy. They offer a free WIFI in the lobby only. The gift shop is pretty big and has a lot of souvenir items.

Most tourists stay here in winter. But we weren't sure about summer. Highly recommended. Its inconvenient in summer as you've to take hourly public shuttle bus (260 yen one way). But the Hotel grounds are worth a visit. The flower gardens, hot spring onsen, shop selling local produce, famous Ningle terrace selling crafts from hobbyists. Hot air balloon. Skip the... More

Great location although a bit far out. Buses and taxis are available. Lots of nice walking paths en route to bar, cafe outside the main building. Nice bakery at the back which provides even hot soups apart from bakery items. Helpful friendly staff providing good service. Rooms have these huge windows overlooking unusually tall trees. Overall highly recommended.

The New Furano Prince is situated in the foothills of Mt Furano-Nishi (富良野西岳). This is a ski resort with quite a few interesting things to do and see whether you visit in the summer or the winter. The resort definitely exudes "bucolic" in the summer. The hotel is sited to capitalize on the incredible views, of the verdant valley rolling... More
