Had a room with the view of a mountain. The dinner buffet spread has good quality food like crab, scallop sashimi, succulent roast beef and the season's very sweet honeydew melons. Did not try the Onsen. Self-sufficient hotel with convenience shop and vending machines at every floor. Room had a bath tub. Tried the lavender bath salts from farm tomita.... More

It is very last minute when we booked and I will admit it was peak season and the Furano area got almost no hotel rooms left. So it was very high price as kind of expected. But when we check-in to get a more-than-normal 2-bedded room at USD500 per night (dinner & breakfast included), we still think it is not... More

The hotel has the advantage of a beautiful setting with nice grounds. Check- in is at 3pm, and that was not strictly enforced – good, since I had to change and be ready for a 3pm meeting. I was given room 612, a southwest- facing room. Unfortunately, even though it was the sixth floor, the view was only into a... More

This hotel is big! It has it's own mini mart selling a wide selection of Japanese snacks, gifts and souvenirs. Has 2 huge breakfast halls offering a buffet of Western and Japanese selection, and a few other restaurants (the Japanese restaurant at the top floor was decent). There's also an interesting whiskey/cigar bar located in the woods (Soh's Bar) within... More

Stayed here for 2 nights to explore around the furano hotel. It is a far bit from the town center but we drove up and it was quite convenient with free parking. There is a public bus that comes to the hotel as well but we didnt take it as it had designates timings and thus was more convenient to... More

Had a fairly enjoyable stay at this hotel. Hotel grounds seemed large with lots of activities. There's a store selling snacks and souvenirs at the lobby as well. Room though not large was adequate and comfortable enough for a night's stay. Furnishings seemed a little dated and could use some updating. Dinner and breakfast at the hotel was enjoyable. The... This hotel is ideally located (directle next to the slopes) if one intends to ski in Furano. Skies can be rented in the hotel. After skiing the Furano Hot Spring helps to relax. Several restaurants are located in the hotel, some are very good. Hotel rooms are clean and spacious. Negative: While I was in the hotel, there were long... More

I chose this hotel thinking it's "newer" as its name suggested, compared to Furano Prince hotel but I was wrong. The rooms are small, dated and the most inconvenient of all - free wifi is only available at a designated area in the lobby, plus it's not the highest speed either. The rooms gave me a feeling of the 80s... More

Functional - as you'd expect in Japan Super helpful staff Good food Clean Efficient The atmosphere caters for locals rather than foreigners - no après ski Only a short bus trip or taxi ride to the village Our second season, we shall be back

Ski-in-Ski-out + great Japanese hot spring experience. Need to book months ahead as you are competing the rooms with Japanese local ski lovers as well lots of Asians (from Thailand, Singapore, Taiwan and Hong Kong), I would not say it's very good prices but think about all the goodies you can get: convenient location (bus connection from Chitose airport to...
