Now I know why the hotel has no photos online of the bathroom. It is truly an embarrassment! For a Prince hotel, the bathroom is the size of a closet. Bathtub is about 1m in length so can barely turn when taking a shower. It was tough dressing up in the bathroom as there was no room to stretch out... More

Our family of two adults and two kids (6 years old and 1 year old) stayed here for one night in a twin room, which was just large enough to squeeze in a roll-away bed and a baby cot. Scott Tovey was my point of contact, and he was very helpful via email communication (for this trip and a previous... More

The Hotel is well located to allow walking access to local restaurants and the Kitatomina ski area. About 1km walk to 7 / 11 supermarket with snacks, wine etc & food for dinner. The staff Hotel are friendly & polite but really focus on those they understand. English limited. Non smoking rooms exist but non smoking floors don't. When leaving... More

10 years ago, we stayed here for two nights. Except for the small room size, we had nothing to complain. Therefore, we still choose this hotel this time. However, this hotel seems to have nothing changed for past 10 years. It really needs to be re-decorated and upgraded. Staffs are friendly. Breakfast is OK. Environment is good.

Hotel is set in midst of lush greenery. The surrounding mountain views are lovely. The rooms in the annex is not sound proof and you can hear people talking or children running along the corridors. Sound sleep is achievable by wearing ear plugs which I always bring with me. Overall it's okay. Rooms are clean and bright, though for 3... More

There are two Prince hotels in Furano which are close neighbours. Of the two The Furano Prince is less Prince Charming and more Cinderella. The New Furano Prince has the facilities and glitz, while the older Furano Prince is the neglected step-sister. The hotel is designed around the winter ski season and offers a basic recipe of room, ski storage,... More

I stayed in new Prince Hotel few years ago. I did love it. Unfortunately, it is full booking in there so I pick this one. Disappointed. The hotel really needs decoration again. The hotel staff is not really helpful. Such a big contrast with the new Prince Hotel. It is not really worth of money. Probably, it is just a... More

We stayed at the Furano Prince for a week at the end of February and we highly enjoyed our trip. It was only a 45 - 60 minute bus ride from the airport, with no winding road so that was a great way to stay. We stayed in the slightly older wing but it was still great and wasn't at... More

Travel agent booked the wrong hotel - wanted New Furano Prince and got Furano Prince instead, was too disappointed to take pix. Place was difficult to navigate to. Rooms were very old, and extremely small, so were the beds, of all the twin rooms booked on our trip, this had the smallest bed (plain single instead of super single) so... More

Stayed here for 3 nights and used it as a base to tour Furano, Biei and Asahikawa area. The location is not bad as there are local eateries nearby and thus, convenient to look for dinner. The room looks like a 3 star business hotel and probably falls short of a prince hotel as I expect a prince hotel to... More
