The location was stunning but for the price tag the experience was not worth it. This was the final stage of our month long trip and the one that I was most looking forward to. When we arrived I quickly noticed a pile of broken games stacked in the corner and over grown grass climbing an old slide like someone's... More

I am so in love with this place that I am going to get married there :) This is with no doubt the place of my dreams. The energy you feel as soon as you arrive is pure and amazing. The air you breathe is sweet and humid, coming from the stunning steams that surround the lodge. The mountains are... More

Pampa Hermosa lodge is for the nature lovers and adventurers. Located in the middle of the rainforest with many trails to hike up, beautiful waterfalls , a paradise for Nature Photographers and birdwatchers. The staff is very helpful and friendly, food is great . Strongly recommended for a 4-5 days vacation. Bring your favorite wine, and a good book to... More

I just came back from Pampa Hermosa, we were two families, our kids and ourselves were amazed by the gorgeous place. The cocks of the rocks, peruvian national bird, very hard to find are very easy to watch among other rare birds. Urbano our local guide knew the area perfectly, he has been born there. We really recommend this lodge.... More

In a nutshell; when I went to Pampa Hermosa, I was feeling sick, tired and cold, and when I got out of there, I was feeling the best in the world. Yet very sorry to leave the place of my dreams. This is really where a human being is supposed to be. Highs of 25 degrees, lows of 18, humidity... More

Pampa Hermosa was one of the highlights of our trip to Peru and the accommodation itself was an experience rather than just a “place to stay”. You will arrive at the Eco Lodge to see the cabins and dining/bar area blending in effortlessly into the cloud forest surroundings. The climate is very pleasant and at the time we travelled at... Pampa Hermosa is in a beautiful situation at the bottom of a steep-sided, forest-mantled valley beside the rapids of a river and with its own ‘beach’. Except for the sound of the river it is quiet and peaceful. Access from Lima to San Ramon involves a spectacular 8.5 hour trip over the Andes by comfortable bus (book your numbered seat... More

Pampa Hermosa is one of the few places in the area where you can truly enjoy nature, yet be pampered with superb food and comfortable accommodations at the same time. The cabins are roomy and well equipped (but bugs do get in), and there is electricity 24 hours per day. The food is varied and surprisingly good. There is even... More

This "Eco" lodge was exactly that. Completely run on hydroelectric power 100% of the time. The cabins were made from natural wood and stone, complete with authentic thatched roofs. All of the food (which I may add was very close to 5 star dining) is grown and bought from local farmers at the markets in San Ramon. All of your... More
