I have stayed at the Laurasilva apartments several times and have thoroughly enjoyed it every time. The staff are friendly and very helpful, the rooms are always clean,I have only eaten in the restaurant on a couple of occasions the reason being there are so many good restaurants nearby. The food was more than adequate though. If there is one criticism... More

We arrived around 22.00 to a rather brusque(albeit efficient) welcome! The apartment was large and adequately stocked. Fresh towels every second day. Cleaning every day bar two. We were on first floor parallel to main street so found it a bit noisy early morning with traffic and trolleys (folk leaving early to catch ferry). However we felt that it was... More

On the whole we enjoyed our stay, but the following may help you decide whether you might like the accommodation. The apartments were clean and spacious, and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. The apartments were cleaned 3 times per week and towels changed if you wanted fresh ones throughout the week. If TV is your thing it is... More

Perfect location, lovely pool but unfortunately cold - in December just few people in hotel ( most Germans) There is free internet on reception so you can catch signal in the few rooms next to as well. Nice and clean room - good value for the money!

Very dissapointing, surly German lady manned reception, the pool was unheated and the first room we were given had a smell of sewage coming from it. The standard in La Gomera in general is excellent, however this was dissapointing. The breakfast however was good, with a wide range of foods available.

These apartments clearly need an updagrade, however, I found them to be clean, spacious and had everything I needed. As mentioned in another review, there is no soundproofing so noise from your neighbours could ruin your stay. I was very lucky and had considerate neighbours who kept noise to a minimum so I was not disturbed too much. I dread... More

Valle Gran Rey and La Gomera both well worth a visit. stayed here for 5 nights, and following some confusion over whether reception could match our prebooked price for half board for extra nights (they couldn't) we had an enjoyable stay.

My wife and I stayed at Laurisilva for five enjoyable days in September having travelled by Armas ferry from Los Cristianos, Tenerife. The journey from our port of arrival, San Sebastian, to Valle Gran Rey took about an hour and a quarter in our hired Corsa. Whilst the apartments are prominently situated on what passes for the 'main road' there... More
