The setting is what saves this place. The cabanas are fairly basic - the beds are nice and the room-temp showers were refreshing, but there was a simply thoughtfulness missing...and that's what keeps me from giving the property four stars. The staff were all helpful and friendly, and the food is simple but perfectly serviceable (though dinner is not served).... More

We booked this hotel as a pre-wedding place to relax as a couple before our family arrived for our destination wedding in another city. The cabins were a perfect way to unplug from our busy lives and just enjoy the incredible surroundings. The cabins are basic in terms of amenities, but have everything you need and really the beauty was... More

We stayed for 5 days at Un Sueno and wish we were still there. We had a cabana one row back from the beach with one queen bed with mosquito netting and a nice bathroom. This place gives you the feeling of living at the beach with your own small terrace with chairs and a hammock. At this time of... More

This is one of those places that stay in your soul forever. The beachfront cabañas are very well designed, small little details that make your staying warm, friendly staff and such an amazing ocean view. It was a pleasure having breakfast by the sea. Efraín was very helpful by telling me tips about the area and also recommended me where... More

The cabanas by the beach in San Agustinillo are wonderful. We very much enjoyed the location, the restaurant and the wonderful service... This is not a luxury place, but felt like one and we are going to be steady customers!!! The staff is attentive, and always smiling.. The quality/price ratio is very good, even though hot water was absent, the... More

There are very few places that make you come back again and again and wish to be of retirement age so that you can move there and die a happy and peaceful death. Un Sueño is that place. Katy and Julien are amazing hosts and friends, the cabañas amazing -watch for the open air showers a real treat, the food... More

Simple, well-operated and nicely priced. Each room @ Un Sueno has a different theme. We stayed in two different rooms and both were quite comfortable and while the second one was closer to the street we weren't bothered by street noise. Breakfasts are the best one out there with top-notch coffee and excellent plates. The hotel is built right on... More

Really lovely place on the beach... The staff and owners are great people... They even let us pay in a foreign currency because we couldn't get enough out of the ATM... We had a dog with us and they didn't even complain... The rooms are clean and comfy... The food is tasty... They don't hassle you about your bill and... More

Absolutely wonderful, a total dream. Un Sueno is located on what seemed to be the somewhat quieter part of San Agustinillo beach, which for us was perfect as we wanted a peaceful, quiet vacation. We fell asleep sleep every night to the sound of the waves crashing 100 feet away. Took walks on the beach at sunrise every morning and... More
