There are very few places that make you come back again and again and wish to be of retirement age so that you can move there and die a happy and peaceful death. Un Sueño is that place. Katy and Julien are amazing hosts and friends, the cabañas amazing -watch for the open air showers a real treat, the food... More

I stayed here with 6 friends and Julian the owner and Efrain The staff area super nice and friendly. We had a wonderful time and the beach is beautiful. The place is clean as well. If you are looking to be far away in a hidden place this is the place to go :)

Simple, well-operated and nicely priced. Each room @ Un Sueno has a different theme. We stayed in two different rooms and both were quite comfortable and while the second one was closer to the street we weren't bothered by street noise. Breakfasts are the best one out there with top-notch coffee and excellent plates. The hotel is built right on... More

Really lovely place on the beach... The staff and owners are great people... They even let us pay in a foreign currency because we couldn't get enough out of the ATM... We had a dog with us and they didn't even complain... The rooms are clean and comfy... The food is tasty... They don't hassle you about your bill and... More

Absolutely wonderful, a total dream. Un Sueno is located on what seemed to be the somewhat quieter part of San Agustinillo beach, which for us was perfect as we wanted a peaceful, quiet vacation. We fell asleep sleep every night to the sound of the waves crashing 100 feet away. Took walks on the beach at sunrise every morning and... More

This accommodation was unreal! A cabana placed right on the beach with a hammock on your front patio! It really was paradise. Breakfast is served maybe 20 meters from the cabana and the food is delicious. You can lie in bed and hear/ watch the waves. Everyone in town is relaxed and laid back and we felt safe the entire... Being ocean front is great but the cabins are right next to other cabins, however it is easy to walk to an empty beach. The waves are not for children but lovely for just experiencing their strength. The cabins have windows that cannot be closed which causes a need for the mosquito nets. The nets in our cabin didn't allow... More

If you are a lonely planet type traveller you will love this. I was looking for a quiet place on the beach and this was perfect. The beachfront cabanas are good, but they only have a double bed, which was ok for me because I was travelling alone, but might be a bit to cosy for 2 Americans or Canadians.... More

12 cabins on one of the best parts of the beach on a stretch on the edge of town. 4 ocean view cabins and like 5 2 story cabins on second row. Stayed in both and really would prefer the cabins on the back: more space, nicer decoration. Front row cabins need some TLC as well does the palapa/breakfast area.... More
