i can't speak highly enough of buddha. I've been here a little over a week so far, and it's first class. The accommodations are fantastic, staff is friendly and attentive, food is great. Acoustic night was last night and place got packed and had great energy. Surf instructors and guides have all been first class. Great selection of boards, short... More

I stayed here on Siargao for three nights and the staff couldn't have made me feel more welcome . They organised day trips for us every single day so I managed to see everything I planned to see in the four days I was here . Rooms were spacious and modern with beautiful bathrooms . Food was great especially the... More

Really enjoyed staying there. Cool little place. Nice and clean rooms with a veranda, beautiful garden with hammocks and a very good restaurant. The owner has been very helpful with organizing surfing lessons. Also had a beautiful day-trip with SUP, mangrove tour and lunch with them.

This was the number 1 resort in Tripadvisor that's why I booked here and I understood why as I stayed in the hotel. You go to Siargao to surf and this hotel provides everything that is needed by a surfer or a "wanna be" like myself. I understand that the staff early in the morning looks for good surf waves... 2 weeks over Christmas at this place were the best choice we made for our 2 month Trip. The owner Ashley and his stuff did more than you could expect from surfing resort. Not only was the weather and the surf perfect most of the time, but even when a cyclone was running over the island and you couldn't do... More

Buddha's is a fantastic resort. Great for those looking to get out and be active while on siargao. With the slack line and volleyball net setup in the grassy courtyard to the Kiteboarding school on the grounds, this is THE place to stay when you're looking to have fun. The food was consistently good, the owner Ashley was always helpful... More

Being a beginner surfer I really didn't know what to expect from Siargao. The staff at Bhuddas were at the airport waiting to meet us and on the short car journey to the resort told us all the wonders of the island. I even managed to get surf hire and lessons booked at check in!! We were greeted by a... More

Having booked the "number one hotel in Siargao" according to Trip Advisor this is what we were expecting. This is not what we got. Bhudda's is an upmarket backpackers hostel with a laid back sometimes friendly vibe. But a hotel it is not. Despite what the website says there was no yoga (we were there for 6 days), no acoustic... Thanks very much for your feedback Julie. We would dispute your description of Buddha’s as a backpackers Hostel as you so describe. We have high standard rooms with aircon, TVs, private bathrooms. In our experience, many backpackers on a budget do not have the means to stay with us. Supporting this Tripadvisor has a strict categorising policy and requirements, we... More

Were recommended to stay a at Buddha's for a one night "excursion" to GL from elsewhere on the island. It's a more upscale, but very chilled out place, worth the extra pesos! Good food and breakfast, a welcoming coconut, nice dogs, friendly staff, cool design, rainshowers, it is hard not to like it. Most memorable for us was the friendly... More

Now I understand why Buddha's is the #1 resort in Siargao. My husband and I truly enjoyed our seven-day stay there. The staff was courteous, food and coffee were great, and our room upstairs was spacious. I think what sets this place apart from the rest is Ashley, the owner. He is warm, sincere, and he cares about the resort... More
