My family and I have stayed at this hotel over 5 times being residents in Sri Lanka. Every time the hotel has lived up to it's standards in terms of excellent service by the staff, wide choice of quality food, great location in the bush and spacious cabins. High quality hotel makes great retreat after the safari. Safari is luck... More

The hotel location in the national park really brings you close to nature in the same way that safari resorts in Africa immerse you in the bush. That's pretty much where the similarities end. This is more of a wetland area with views obscured by dense jungle and the term safari is a bit misleading - wetland tour would be... More

This place is literally in the wilderness. If you enjoy wilderness and want to explore wildlife, you must visit this place. The property is nice and well maintained. The rooms are huge with a little seating area, study table, big bed with mosquito net and the bathroom is pretty big. The bed in particular was amazing; we slept so well.... More

We stayed at Cinnamon Wild for two nights with our three children. They thoroughly enjoyed the wildlife in and around the hotel. The safari that we booked (we went twice, morning and late afternoon) was great fun even though we failed to see the leopards. The rooms are a spacious and clean. The food however is very uninspiring and the... More

Me and my husband stayed in Cinnamon Yala as part of our Sri Lankan tour. We had no idea what to expect and were amazed at what we found an hours drive into the park. It is hard to describe what an amazing experience we had at cinnamon yala and it definitely would not have been the same had we... More

As part of a tour of srilanka we chose cinnamon wild as a base for the safari at yala. We were there for 3 nights and did 2 safaris. 1 in the early morning and 1 in the afternoon. The whole experience at yala is amazing. The hotel is based by a water hole, where crocs, water buffalo and pelicans... More

As we approached Cinnamon Wild Yala with signs warning of various animals and elephants, which I thought was just added ‘colour’ - we rounded a corner and there was an elephant. ?this was the start of an amazing adventure. A jungle chalet, a conical roofed hut with interesting woodwork inside, a frog in the bathroom, geckos, and outside just a... More

What a hotel! We only had two nights here but easily could have stayed for a week. We had such a fantastic stay here we really didn’t want to leave. We had a beach villa which had fantastic views out to sea and when we were shown to the room and there were monkeys playing outside it we knew we... More
