An experience having wild bore, deer, monkeys passing you chalets which are very spacious and well appointed. Food was well presented and tasted good with a good selection for all tastes. A very enjoyable stay - one complaint I could not get a cup of tea at 06.00 in the morning before my departure - saying that it was still... More

This is an amazing resort. We went in May 2013 (not sept as App has put) arrival was welcoming, drinks and staff took the time to chat and help. The room was lovely, and the location of the room amongst the trees and wildlife really added to the Wild experience, to be ushered to your room after dark was no... More

Great hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Choice of food excellent. Rooms were well equipped with comfortable bed and nice shower. Could not fault it. Saw plenty of birds at the nearby watering hole and even witnessed 2 crocs walking into the water. Plenty of wildlife around including monkeys and we even had a family of wild boar under our... More

Stayed here during tour of Sri Lanka. We stayed in a Jungle chalet and were more than happy with our accommodation. Bed was comfortable, lovely big shower, tea and coffee facilities. Food at both the evening buffet and breakfast was of a good standard with 'cooking stations.' Varied choice and friendly service, couldn't fault it. As others have already pointed... More

this hotel is the closest one to the Yala National Park. Near by the beach (Indian Ocean). Swimming pool near by lagoon where are crocodiles and birds. Two bars - one on the roof top with the spectacular view over the areas. Nice and spacey accommodation. Very good service, tasty food. No SPA yet. Into the nature. I'm recommending that... More

This hotel was fantastic. the location is the BEST for YALA National Park. Best to book the safari jeep for 5,000 rupees yourself and then all the park fees at the gate and get a much better deal. Hotel should advise NOT to leave anything outside as the monkeys will just run off with it !!! Food good but dinner... More

This was my fourth trip to Cinnamon Wild ..and it keeps getting better every time. The place is very well maintained ..and we have to understand that it takes a lot to keep up a place out in the wilderness. They try their best ..and are there is a flash if anything is not working right . The food is... More

This is an amazing resort located in the Yala wild park sanctuary. You need to organise transport here through a tour company or similar. We are staying in a premium villa which is a round concrete stand alone building. It is delightful and serene. Inside the resort grounds you will enjoy seeing wildlife wander in and around. Last night we... More

Had stayed for 2 nights in March with my wife and 2 kids. Was one of the best experiences on our Srilanka sojourn. The jungle chalets are beautifully done and looks Eco friendly. It's bordering the Yala national parks and it's very common to see wild animals passing through this resort. While having dinner we saw an herd of wild... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Cinnamon Wild after undergoing a brand enhancement is more than a resort; it is an extension of the Yala National park and is intended to be part of the National park. It is designed to represent rustic luxury, resembling a game lodge. Cinnamon Wild Yala exceeds guest expectations with interiors that give the camp look and feel, embedded with large trunk boxes, old vintage furniture, director's chairs and indigenous artwork. ... more   less
