My partner and I booked a night there this month. They were wonderful could not have asked for friendlier or more helpful team. Sure the decor is dated and sometimes the bar is very busy but the have great food and lovely service rooms where clean and warm a nice place in the hills for a stay and a meal

Great old hotel lovely views , food was great & plenty to eat. Plenty of space to eat you have the choice to eat on the veranda or in the cafe ,or the dinning room with open fire. Food choice was great I had fish & chips two large snapper & side salad was very filling. I would highly recommend... More

All the previous reviews about this hotel are right in one way or another. Its a good venue if you get a nice day to sit outside to soak up the sun and bush views and have some pizza or steak and chips with a glass of beer or wine. The food is pub grub fairly simple but of average... More

What a lost opportunity. Somewhere amongst the peeling paint, the broken and uneven paving/concrete, the woodwork that looks like the white ant's have eaten a feast, the rust and the general grime is the potential for a country pub that could be fantastic. Sadly, instead you have an establishment that must need about $500,000 in repairs. We went for lunch... More

Today we took the inlaws to another spot on the Perth sightseeing circuit, the Mundaring Weir and lunch at the hotel. The meals were very nice, well priced and well presented. The way we were made to feel most unwelcome on arrival though was horrible! The lady behind the bar was rude and abrupt, hurried us along with our order,... More

I have been to this hotel for Sunday afternoon drinks over many years and I am still waiting for the charm of this hotel to be uncovered my the management. Many of the old hotels in Perth have been dressed up and become an central point of the community, sadly the Mundaring Weir Hotel is still to reach this point.... More

All in all, this is a nice place, but it's living a little bit from it's old-fashioned image. We went for Sunday lunch but it took a long time to find a clean table, with trays and glasses on nearly every empty space (with the leftover food being eaten by the parrots). Once we cleared our own tables, it was... More

I came here with my partner for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The drive up was lovely and once we arrived, there was plenty of seating space to choose from to drink or eat. We ordered a pizza, buffalo wings and onion rings with dips for $27! We also got 2 pints for $18. We were pleasantly surprised with the... More

A large, imposing hotel with rooms, bar and function rooms with easy access to views over the nearby weir and pipeline. Many original Victorian features; function room on ground floor, bar on first floor with imposing balcony. Traditional bar food - we had steak and mushroom pie (no visible mushrooms!) for $24, with a pint for $9. I can't comment... More

I have visited this venue over the past 20 years, from riding my bike on a Sunday run, to just a weekend drive and meal. Over the years i have enjoyed the growth of this Hotel / Pub / Venue. Of course its a lovely stop after driving to the Mundaring Weirs winding road. Today i was out for a... More
