What a beautiful hotel, and what friendly hosts. This is a small, cosy hotel by the Rhône river in the lovely town of Tain L'hermitage. The hosts will go out of their way to help you around, they offered to drive us to a location that is a little far for a walk. They were very accommodating. We got room... More

We stayed here in rooms 6 and 7 for one night on Saturday, 6 Sept 2014. These rooms have a beautiful view overlooking the river (and the free on-street car parking below). Great location for a hike through the vineyards or a walk around town to Valrhona Chocolate (a must-visit) or to some of the many wine tasting facilities or... More

We stayed here as a family on the second overnight stop on our journey to the south of France. The hotel is in a superb location immediately on the banks of The Rhone next to an old wooden suspension bridge that you can walk over to Toulon on the other side. The rooms are fine - ours had a view... More

We followed the advice found here and asked for a room with a view of the river so we were most happy to get a beautiful room with two small balconies. Everything was excellent, big bed, lots of space, good breakfast and even a good restaurant next door. I would also recomend the lunch and the wine tasting at the... More

Nice location close to the river. Spacy (at French standards) and recently renovated rooms. Be aware hotel accepts clients reserving their favorite tables for breakfast the night before, so in a cold mirnkng when it is best to be inside you might be refused the nuce view all the time from 7-10...

Light and bright room in a stylish hotel. Situated on the banks of the Rhone next to the pedestrian bridge, this hotel looks out over a great view across the river. The room was high and light although we had a side view of the river. Slight drawback for some will be the absence of a lift. Breakfast was fine,... More

The best part of our trip to France so far! The town is adorable and the people are accommodating. The hotel is beautiful, and you should try to get a room overlooking the river if possible - we had #4 and loved the balcony!

This hotel is situated just where the pedestrian bridge over the river Rhône starts. The hotel is quiet and calm. The service provided is warm and effective. The breakfast is good. We found it being a good choice for staying overnight in Tain.

Try to book a room with a view of the bridge--it's lovely at night. We had room #6. Service and breakfast were great and the decor tastefully done. We'd go again in a heartbeat. Don't miss the Valrhona chocolate shop when you're in town.

This hotel has been recently renovated and the rooms are spotless with new bathrooms. Location is in the middle of everything and balcony rooms have views of the river. Our room was a standard double and quite small. Getting the "comfort" room may be worth the money. We would stay here again for sure.
