Whilst the room was a little sparse and lacked any real comforts we enjoyed the 2 nights because of the view and its proximity to the river, it was also fairly quiet at night. Lots of hot water and a decent sized shower room came with an 80E charge plus tax room only plus a charge for their garage parking... More

This hotel is very well located, in front of the Rhone river and far away from big traffic.Quiet, peaceful and relaxing place. it is a good place to stay to visit the area or on the way to the South of France, to Italy ot to Spain.

Very good 3-star hotel in an amazing location along the Rhone river. Quite spacious room (#16) with view of the river, clean and with a good bed. Breakfast at terrasse good (continental +). Staff only speaks French, but understands some English.

This hotel is a delight. Either side of the hotel has it merits. The views from the balconies over the Rhone are gorgeous..I had my shutters open and the full moonset over the wide imperious river is one of those treasured memories that will last forever. But the traffic noise (both river and from the road on the other side... More

We paid extra for a deluxe room overlooking the river. We weren'ty disappointed. Large, comfortable and two balconies. The room price for two people was just 84 euros The breakfast was superb with a great variety of breads, pastries, fruit etc and again at a very reasonable cost. They do not have a restaurant for dinner but the bistro just... More

We stayed here based on Tripadvisor reviews and were not disappointed. I had a bit of trouble getting to it as the street that goes there dead ends right after the hotel at the foot bridge. It did not look like I should go down that street. It's okay, go down that street but stop before you go past the... More

We had spent the previous night at a four star place that charged 50% more while in the middle of nowhere. In comparison, we really liked the 2 coteaux. Nice people, nice terrace. We just brought our favorite bottle of Cornas, sat there, borrowed a corkscrew and enjoyed it while looking at the old (now pedestrian) bridge and the river.... More

This is a gem (I should not be telling you this) On the river in front of the bridge....Exceptional views of the river , night views are the best. Friendly staff, good restaurant next door....Really for me nothing to complain about. For those that have a lot of baggage, be aware that there is no elevator, the stairs are steep... More

What a beautiful hotel, and what friendly hosts. This is a small, cosy hotel by the Rhône river in the lovely town of Tain L'hermitage. The hosts will go out of their way to help you around, they offered to drive us to a location that is a little far for a walk. They were very accommodating. We got room... More

We stayed here in rooms 6 and 7 for one night on Saturday, 6 Sept 2014. These rooms have a beautiful view overlooking the river (and the free on-street car parking below). Great location for a hike through the vineyards or a walk around town to Valrhona Chocolate (a must-visit) or to some of the many wine tasting facilities or... More
