We stayed for 2 nights in early June 2014. Warm and friendly welcome from Olga, excellent breakfast and what a view from the sun lounge over the Falls of Lora and towards the sunset. In fact perhaps the best residents' lounge in any B&B that we've been at. Strumhor is convenient for Oban without staying in the town (we were... More

From Olga's welcome (together with tea and cakes) our stay was superb - again. The view over the Falls of Lora was incredible and ever changing and the otter was on time at 10 each evening. The rooms were lovely, everything we needed was there and the breakfasts were to die for. What else is there to say, except "thank... More

The very best B&B - great accommodation and such welcoming hosts. The breakfasts are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. In the evening we sat in the conservatory and watched an otter playing the the loch. I would recommend Strumhor to all my friends.

What a beautiful place to stay overlooking the Falls of Lora. A very warm welcome, lovely rooms and a great breakfast - nothing is too much trouble for Olga and Tony. The ground floor double rooms were ideal for us and my mum who is elderly and can't manage stairs. We will stay again soon many thanks Chrisy.

Can't recommend this BnB enough. The quality is outstanding, the welcome is lovely (as is the welcome coffee and cake!), sitting in the sunroom looking directly out over the Falls of Lora reading their wildlife log and checking for otters through the spotting scope is one of the great treats of life. Breakfast is delicious and home cooked (pancakes and... More

A great spot with a chilled atmosphere and space to feel like you are in your own home. Friendly owners and good breakfasts. A great spot to enjoy the Western Highlands, Falls of Lora, Skiing and kayaking. The owner also runs a sea kayaking business and is very knowledgeable. www.fallsoflora.info Thanks, Willow

We have been using this lovely bed and breakfast for a few years now. It is very well furnished, everything new and fresh. Beds comfortable and owners go out of their way to accommodate your wishes i.e. early starts. It has two singles upstairs which share a bathroom and are great for two single people. Lovely lounge with superb views... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this B&B. We were warmly welcomed with delicious home-made brownies in their relaxing sitting room area. Our room was comfortable and spotless, and breakfast was excellent - one of the best we had in Scotland. Thanks for a great stay - we recommend!

This is a smashing B & B located right opposite the falls and impressive bridge. With splendid views and a very warm welcome from Olga and Tony, this is a lovely place to stay, especially if you book 'Lorn' which overlooks the sights and has a small lounge as well as the comfortable en-suite. There is also a guest's lounge... More

This is by far one of the best B&B's I've ever stayed at. Clean, modern and welcoming. But the icing on the cake was the PANCAKES! It was so nice, and a relief after travelling for two weeks, to have a varied breakfast menu. Thanks for the recipe Olga - I've actually bought the book as well. And I would... More
