We stayed for 2 days in this lovely quiet place and we enjoyed everything. The staff was more than nice to us and the food was very good and well presented.
Spent one night recently in our Normandy getaway. We had a nice superior room with romantic touch, a lovely dinner and a beautiful breakfast. This place is lovely but owners should make some improvements especially outside to make it even nicer. WiFi is free and parking also. It was too cold for the outdoor pool. Staff was very kind and...

It's off the beaten track this place, but a real gem. It feels like a real piece of living history and the lady proprietor is really nice and helpful to English guests. The rooms have real character and the views out through the huge windows over the gardens are fabulous. It has an outdoor pool, which was of a decent...

The Chateau is located in the French countryside. The food was out of this world! Our room was wonderful with shower heads on all walls. By all means, go out of your way to stay here!
Went to this place as part of a half board package through Great Escapes. Normally you get to choose from a reasonable menu with their packages, but no, here was a special 'demi-pension' menu with very limited choice. we were even told we had a room upgrade - dread to think what the room was supposed to be like otherwise....

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, fantastic grounds and location.
A well priced hotel with reasonable restaurant, in idyllic grounds.
Location. Deep in the Normandy countryside, well away from any towns or noise, a real country getaway (a car is essential!). The grounds are well kept and the Chateau setting is a fantastic site upon arrival.
Room. Our room was a split...

The welcome was warm and friendly, the room (on the top floor with a mezzanine) was very comfortable with a...

Very convenient location, very calm, nice staff. Clean rooms. Very good bathroom. But. Overpriced breakfast and dinner (it's cheaper to have a dinner in the good restaurant in the centre of Paris) and sometimes the service is a little bit annoying.
We booked a one night stop over travelling up to Calais from the Dordogne area. We had a firm booking and an email to confirm this booking from the Chateau(as they had taken our credit card details for payment for two months) before we left to travel around France. Whilst we were touring around one day we got a mobile...

Had a very pleasant stay at Chateau du Landel, nice spacious room and great view over the park of the chateau. Beautiful location and the building itself is also nicely decorated. Very kind and helpful staff. Dinner was too expensive for what it was.
