We have been planning to eat here for a while. We chose to go on a lunchtime mid week. The entire experience from beginning to end was just purely amazing. A visual display of excellence, delivered by a team of highly professional people who took pleasure in explaining and sharing the delights of each stunning course. We were left speechless.... More

I stayed here with my wife 9/13, we booked one of the cheaper rooms at €250 per night, very small and very average. We had booked dinner that evening, we arrived early, brought to our table and we were offered a glass of non-vintage champagne which we excepted, only to find out it cost €25 per glass! The food was... More

Few restaurants anywhere in the world have so spectacular an approach, through the rough terrain of Corbieres to a 'fantasy village in the middle of nowhere. you wouldn't expect any passing trade here, but the celebrated chef is so famous that his eatery is nearly always full. Needing some sustenance and succour, after pushing the 'travel envelope', we were driving... More

We had a celebration birthday lunch in the depths of rural France. Unforgettable. Amazing and unusual dishes, so imaginatively presented, yet the overall experience was of simplicity combined with excellence.

I visited this hotel restaurant with 3 friends to celebrate my birthday, the first time in 11 years for health reasons I could do this... And so it was to be special to say the least Before we arrived the restaurant checked to see if there were any special requests, as my friend was vegetarian the caller took time to... More

This was our third trip to this restaurant and it was as good as the first time we went. Atmosphere was excellent the Maître' D came out to meet us in the car park and even parked our car. We were then greeted by various members of staff all the way to our table. The tasting menu was fabulous as... More

My wife and I are very impressed with the quality and imagination. The auberge is located in a middle of no where (though it has a nice old church and a village), it's worth a visit to taste the chef's creation.

This review is for the hotel, not the restaurant - more precisely the terrace rooms. While I mentioned some disappointments with regards to the dinner, nothing can take away my 5 stars to our room, not even the bath/shower without curtain and without holder for the shower head, even though that is something you would expect. The positive experience makes... More

we stayed for 4 nights for the second year in a row and were not disappointed. It is all about the food, but overall the welcome is excellent and the whole team seem to care about your experience. We ate our way through the menu and especially recommend the gambas on paella, and the beef which came with a side... More

After booking this many years ago we managed to make it. Whilst we have a house near by, we also decided to stay. You receive a call a few days before hand checking to make sure that have no allergies, or anything you really do not like! Greeted by the Chef, both pre and post meal, this is unusual, as... More
