A very nice room and beautiful grounds. The breakfast was very good with a good variety of fresh food, but there is no restaurant for lunch and dinner. This is no hardship however as there is a really good restaurant in nearby Moulis which is definitely worth a visit - La Boule D'Or.

Warm and personal concierge service. She delightfully helps to adjust our booked wine tasting and massage appointments to fit my ever-changing schedule, recommended+booked a very nice restaurant for fine-dining in Margaux, and made dozen phone calls for arranging my last minute vineyard visit booking.

Tucked away in countryside The Chateau Meyre extends a happy reception and peaceful environment adjacent to their own vineyard. A cellar tour and tasting is a must - really interesting hour or so. Shame they don't do dinner.

There is something missing in this Chateau. The staff are very correct and we were e given a drink on arrival as requested but you do not feel really welcome in a Chateau. The annexe room was far too expensive for what you got. The road on the front side (back from where the rooms are) is very noisy. I... More

Dear Sir, We are sorry you didn’t enjoy your stay in Chateau Meyre. As the hotel is small, we welcome our gests as people and not simple customers. Your opinion is important for us and we will do our best to improve our hotel. Our team is very sorry for your disappointment. Best regards Château Meyre More

The Chateau Meyre looks stunning from the outside however is a little tired on the inside. Guests have the use of a lounge area although it smelt a little musty... We stayed in a pavilion room and while it was spacious and comfortable it was a little dated. Plug socket also needed near a mirror. Breakfast adequate. Staff very friendly... More

Stayed for 7 nights recently. We had the two rooms on the ground floor, which opened up on to a stoned driveway. Very pleased overall, rooms nicely done but perhaps the shower/bath in our room needs some attention. (Maia). My parents were next door in matrae which was fine but only had a small shower room, next to this is... More

Stayed three nights in this elegant, small chateau, with its pleasant breakfast room and comfortable library for the exclusive use of guests. I think there were only 4 bedrooms available in the main building and 6 in the more modern annex, so it is in a sense quite exclusive and certainly very quiet. I note a previous reviewer emphasised going... More

We spent a very pleasant night here. The chateau is just of a road but we didn't hear any traffic. The view onto the vinyard is pleasant and we picnicked in the gardens the evening we arrived, having bought some basic picnic food from the Casino supermarket just up the road (less than one km). We washed the picnic down... More
