Extremely nice hotel and wonderfully friendly, helpful front desk. Rooms were larger and more comfortable than expected in an urban beachfront location. Our room had a balcony overlooking the beach. We only stayed one night prior to a morning flight from Rome. It's a bit farther to the airport than we expected and apparently the roads can be quite congested,... more

As with most of the leisure hotels I stay in, this hotel was booked using this site for advice and the internet to book; ergo blind! The hotel is located right by the coast overlooking the marina, with a small busy road and parade in front of it- which is great for people watching etc. Upon closing your balcony doors... more

We have just stayed here for a week, combining a few days by the sea and a few days visiting Rome. The hotel is clean, comfortable and well kept, and the staff are generally helpful and friendly (except at checkout, when we had an early train to catch, and the guy on checkout was far more interested answering the phone).... more

Modern, clean, pocket-sized room in a medium-sized hotel with a lovely view over the harbor below where we could watch a real community promenade. The room had everything we needed, the service was accommodating and pleasant, and the price was reasonable. This was a one-night stopover. Great location, above the boat harbor and over the promenade. We so enjoyed looking... more

We stayed for one night as a stop over before flying from Rome airport. We booked an appartment suite for a family of four (190 euros for one night). We had two good sized bedrooms (one double one twin) and a good sized bathroom. Good points - good cleanliness and decor in the rooms and communal areas, central location right... more

We booked the Astura Palace on short notice while we were in Venice. We were very pleased with the Hotel. It is located across the street from the Mediterranean Sea and the views were spectacular. The rooms were very clean and roomy. We would definitely stay here again. more

For value for money and comfort, the Astura is a good choice, with lovely views of the marina and beaches if you have a front facing room. However, there were a couple of things which might become annoying, especially if the hotel was full. Firstly, for a new hotel the walls are rather thin, and one can hear practically anything... more

Excellent value at 70 Euros per room per night, although had been quoted 110 Euros per night by another website. If travelling by car, you will need to secure a free hotel parking space on road outside hotel, as, otherwise, it is 1 Euro per hour from 8am to 8.00pm via the parking meters. Don't know how active the police... more

Stayed in the Hotel Astura for two nights from March 24-26, 2006. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was very clean, functional, and had a beautiful view of the marina & sea. Only recommendation would be to stay on a higher floor (we were on 1), as the locals seem to race motorbikes down the street until... more
