We stayed here for one night (planned). The staff was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable but the resort is obviously old and can use some updating. The door to the balcony did not shut properly so you could hear the wind blowing all night. The bed was 2 twin beds pushed together - I did not notice... More

This hotel is in a great location on one end of a great sandy beach. The hotel is also good value as one of the cheaper options on the island when we booked. However the beach is lined with noisy bars. These bars are noisy particularly on Friday and Saturday nights with music going well into the early hours (circa... More

We stayed at TBR for our 1st wedding anniversary celebration and absolutely loved it!! It is a bit old and dated but very neat and clean. We had booked a studio but when we arrived we were upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite!! It was perfect. Our covered balcony overlooked the ocean and the salt pond. Great spot every morning... More

If you are looking for an intimate atmosphere, as opposed to the hustle and bustle of the big hotels, Timothy Beach Resort is indeed the right place. My studio apartment on the first floor, (24 A) with a balcony and an ocean view, included a kitchenette, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, air conditioner and ceiling fan. Everything worked and the... More

The staff at Timothy Beach are awesome. We first booked a mountain room and were very dissapointed and let the front desk know. Mrs. Griffin, the supervisor of the maintenance staff went above and beyond their duty and upgraded us to a fabulous ocean front suite, which met every one of our demands. The room is outdated but everything worked... More

Nice quiet 2 story 4 buldings aproximately 48 units. We booked an oceanview self contained 1 bedroom unit. The ocean could be seen from the corner of the balcony so the view essentially over the salt water pond. Kitchen unit was adequate with cooking utensils and pans. We were able to buy some grocery (fish frozen) from the IGA and... More

This is not a fancy hotel, however the rooms are large and clean. with everything we needed. We had a one bed room suite. The balcony was very nice with a great view. All the staff from grounds keeper up were friendly and helpful. We saw alot of monkeys everyday and have amazing photos. We saw mongoose as well. The... More

We arrived at Timothy Beach (TB) after 10 days of travel on two other islands. It was sad to end of our 2 week holiday at Timothy Beach. We arrived in the afternoon and checked into the reception area, the receptionist was pleasant and the gentlemen that showed us our room was extremely nice. Our room was facing the ocean... More

I knew in advance that the rooms at Timothy Beach Resort were basic "Floridian" rooms with no special perks. The pictures of the rooms online depict a very clean, new looking room which was what we were expecting for our honeymoon stay. When we entered our one bedroom suite, it was terribly musty and much more run down than I... More

We stayed at Timothy Beach Resort and had a wonderful stay. The staff are extremely friendly, especially Lauren at the desk and Juliett in the restaurant. Thanks to Virgil we were able to get an early checkin. If you are looking for a relaxing place away from the bigger hotel this hotel has it. We did experience some problems with... More
