Stayred there for a week. A great comfortable and relaxed place. Indian restaurant, a decent cafe known as the Rituals, Rock lobster and Shiggdys shack all in close proximity. A stones throw from Marriott and excellent area known as the Frigate bay. Comfortable beds, and very relaxed atmosphere. Will stay again whenever am there :)

I regret to write such a review as I was under the impression my experience would have been better. The housekeeping staff are amazing. The front desk staff are usually nice, unless you approach them to do something that is their job (this depends on who's working though). I expressed concerns about the loud music which radiated through the thin... More

I stayed at this resort in January-February 2014. Other reviews basically say it all: very friendly helpful staff; units serviced regularly; any deficiencies fixed up quickly by their very obliging maintenance woman; a very short walk to an island favourite for your cup of coffee and something to eat with it - pleasant staff there too; small grocery very close... My husband and I just spend a week here. We enjoyed the hotel very much. It was not fancy, but it had everything we needed. There were restaurants on-site and nearby as well as a gift shop and a little grocery store. We swam every day and enjoyed the adult pool and the family pool. The staff were all very... More

The rooms are clean, basic but functional. The beach is empty as is the area by the pools, we never saw more than 2 people by either pools. The supermarket by the entrance is brilliant, and the local restaurant s adequate. Advise strolling down to down South Frigate Bay to the shack bars/restaurant by the beach for the full Caribbean... We went there (8 of us) before staying at the Marriott for just a night. You can't beat the price and it is a good stopping point, maybe not one I would stay at for a long period. It was 1/5 the price of our other hotel. The staff was really nice and rooms were clean. The beds weren't very... More

My husband and I visited Sugar Bay Club for the St Kitts part of our Caribbean tour, we cannot fault the service and friendliness of the staff, it was a great find because it is very peaceful and in a great location, it has some lovely restaurants very close by and a little supermarket and also not far from Basseterre... Wow, what a nice surprise. Formerly known as Sand and Surf you now have a beautifully maintained ocean side mecca for relaxation. I didn't choose to spend time on the choppy and ill kept beach available for hiking because the two beautiful pools and the lovely Caribbean plantings and birds and beauty of nearby mountains was far more relaxing. Although... More

My husband and I visited Sugar Bay Club again this February (2014) for the third time in four years. We love the location and the people there are the best! It is right on a nice long beach for walking and across from the golf course, and there are plenty of places to eat within walking distance not to mention... More
