The hotel is rather tired and in need of some updating inside and out. The unfinished floors on one side is not ongoing work so no construction noise, but it appears to have been lying unfinished for sometime. At £17pppn B&B it is good value for money. The room was ok, had everything we needed for a mini break. The... More

Great location right on seafront with its own private beach area, lots bars and restaurants nearby at very reasonable prices, we walked half a mile to the left and found a beach bar that offered a three course lunch with drink for 7.50 euros, great value right on the beach, could have been Barbados !!! Parking easy outside hotel and... More

Stayed in this hotel last week. The front desk staff spoke good English and we're all very friendly and helpful. They did appreciate it when I attempted to speak in Spanish as well! We stayed in a mountain view room, which was absolutely fine, however if we were to return I definitely would book a sea view room, as the... More

Stayed in the Elimar last week of February. A very friendly and relaxed hotel. Basic but has everything you need and the location is brilliant, being on the beach front and enough distance from the town centre to feel as if you've had a walk (5-10mins). The bus stops are just outside the hotel so easy access into Malaga (approx... More

Returned yesterday from the Elimar having stayed a week with a friend. The location of the hotel is perfect right on the beach with a nice walk down to the town. We moved to a seaview room after a couple of nights as it was quite noisy at the front of the hotel from the traffic. You get to see... More

Unfortunately this hotel was fully booked for all the time we wanted to stay, but at least we got to compare two hotels in Rincon. Hotel Elimar and Rincon sol. We stayed in Elimar last year and where very happy, my parents stayed here this time all their holiday and couldn't find anything they would complain about. Everything was really... More

We stayed at the Hotel Elimar for a week end Sept/beg. October. I didnt have particularly high expectations based on the price we paid but the view was worth the price alone ! We arrived around 2.00am and a security chap let us in. The hotel is very Spanish (so is the whole area) and not much English is spoken... More

Booked through Teletext(not the easiest people to deal with),the holiday went without a hitch. We loved the hotel, not because it was perfect but because everything just about worked giving it an endearing character. Our room on the fourth of almost six floors("almost" because the hotel is not completely built despite the fact that most of the building is overdue for a bit... Everything was great! The food was very well prepared and very fresh! The staff was very friendly and helpful! The hotel is perfectly situated next to the sea and has good bus and taxi connections to Malaga and Nerja! Thanks again to the room cleaning service, every day the room was cleaned and tidy! RECOMMENDABLE! :)
