Just returned from a 3 night stay at this hotel and can't fault it. 45 euros a night including breakfast and free wifi. What more could you ask for? Although we didn't eat in the hotel in the evenings as we like to venture out, people told us that people are brought in by buses to sample the amazing menu.... More

Stayed at the hotel as part of visit to view some properties for sale in and around Mazarron. Lovely quite hotel with ensuite rooms, the only let down was no tea or coffee making facilities. Continental breakfast served in the restaurant, did not have any dinner during our stay but did have lunch one afternoon see review for Amapola restaurant.

Very attractive outside area, the rooms are fine ,quite basic. The best part of this hotel is the Amapola restaurant ,the food is lovely and extremely good value. Breakfast is typical spanish style so don't expect eggs & bacon! Nice quiet area ,lovely beach a short walk away with other restaurants.

Just spent 3 nights at the Playasol (11/8 – 14/8) as part of a property hunting trip. This would not normally be in an area I would pick as it was a good hours drive from the airport albeit on very good roads. The hotel is on a hill bang in the middle of what is a residential area. The... More

Stayed here whilst property hunting. Very relaxed and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Pool and restaurant were excellent. Internet was fast enough to stream movies - and free! Five minutes walk from a beautiful beach.

Stayed a few days with my wife whilst apartment hunting. Very good restaurant. Very clean and well maintained. Nice quiet position. I could have stayed longer. Short walk into the village and beach. No complaints what so ever.

spent 3 nights at the Playasol, very clean, nice pool and friendly staff. Love the location close to the beaches The only down side is the wifi was extremely slow; but still recommended! The Amapola restaurant is highly recommended too; well known by the locals

This review is regarding the restaurant only. We live locally, and have eaten at the Amapola Restaurant on three occasions, a pre-Christmas party last year, my wifes 60th birthday and just recently for Christmas Dinner. On all occasions, the standard of the restaurant, the food and the staff have all been very high. I would say the food is tending... More
