The hotel is definetely not a 4* hotel, although is clean and has all basic things (but don't even try going to the 'gym' - all equipment is very tired and impossible to use - better go for a run - the views are around the hotel are beautiful). Food - average, very basic, lots of fish though. What really... More

Four of us stayed fully inclusive at the Cesar and we left with the conclusion that a number of basic issues needed to be addressed, the 4 star claim in particular. When we checked in having been confirmed as 2 rooms close together we were placed on different floors. Our friends who were celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary were naturally... More

We have just returned from a weeks all inclusive at the Blue Sea Lagos de Cesar. We hired a car from the airport and it took us around 45 minutes to drive to the hotel from the airport. We have had a fantastic time. Our room was a double room and lounge with double sofa bed. The sofa bed was... More

First memory of arriving at this hotel is the overwhelming sewage smell right at the entrance. We booked junior suite With two double beds. We got two singles and a sofa that had collapsed and was very old and shabby. However the beds and pillows were very comfy. Tv had two channels. We paid for extra channels but the ariel... More

Just returned from a week on half board basis. We are a couple in our early 50s. The hotel accommodation is best described as tired. The food was akin to army meals, plentiful but dull. Any extras needed to be paid for e.g. Wifi, use of safe, tv. Definitely not 4 star. It is well positioned tho.

Have just returned from our 1 weeks holiday in this hotel, it was such a disappointment, we thought a 4 star allinclusive was going to be lovely, but it most definitely wasn't a 4star and definitely not lovely. Small dark bar served coffee after dinner in plastic cups couldn't believe it, food was always the same and always over cooked,... More

My wife and I stayed 22nd Dec to 29th Dec 2013. The first thing I have to say is this is not a 4 star hotel, I would struggle to give it 3 stars. The food is very basic with very little choice and we are not fussy eaters. It was barely warm and at times cold, even shortly after it... More

Not a great start, we arrived after the 2 hour transfer from hell on a rickety coach (moved seats twice before we found some which wern't broken) driven at breakneck speed from one side of the island to the other, with a drunken couple having a full scale row next to us for the best part of the trip! Checked... More

We went to Tenerife in January. We were pretty afraid that the weather would be not great as winter time is not that great even on canary islands. We very surprised that it was really nice and sunny there. Hotel was very well kept and clean, staff was really nice and helpful and food in the buffet was always fresh... More
