We arrived late at night and were welcomed by the very friendly and helpful staff and brought to our room with a golf buggy. The place is stunning at night with the torches lighting the alleys and the amazing view of the whole bay from the rooftop terrace. Breakfast is served in your room or on your patio (regretfully not... More

My wife and I stayed at Cap Rocat for 4 nights end of October. The location and setting of the hotel in the 100 year old fortress are truly exceptional with perfect views of the Palma Bay. The rooms are very interesting with private patio and private Wifi due to the thick walls. Probably due to the end of the... More

This hotel was a garrison protecting the bay from pirates. The hill was dug out and the castle placed at the centre, with the walkways cut into the hill. It has the feel of an Arabian nights or pirate movie set. The food and service are excellent. This is a perfect place for a romantic break with a loved one... More

The first thing you notice is the entrance courtyard - wow. The next thing is the staff - absolutely first class. Could not be more welcoming or friendly. After that it's off round the place by golf buggy (the site is vast) and "what on earth have we come to?" - It's like a prison with high concrete walls everywhere... More

In October 2014, our usual travelling group joined some neighbours/ very good friends of ours on their Beneteau 57 yacht based in Majorca. Over the four days we spent on board, we were able to sail extensively to the south west of the island away from its normal berth at Palma Marina. On one of the days, it had been... More

Thank you for this lovely description of your visit and for choosing to celebrate you friend´s retirement at Cap Rocat. It is a shame you were not able to arrive by water, as planned, but arriving by car can be equally impressive. The surrounding countryside that you drove through and coastline belonged to the military for more than a century... More

Cap Rocat is a one-of-a-kind resort experience. Beautiful setting amongst the bluffs of Cala Blava with a spectacular view of the Balearic Sea. The rooms are very well appointed and strategically located for privacy in a quiet, and intimate setting. As someone else mentioned in their review, this is indeed a "...lovely place to read, contemplate, swim, eat, and drink"... More

We had only one night here as part of a Backroads Cycling Trip. Some members of our group wisely spent the night before the trip started at the hotel so they had an extra day and night to truly soak up the special ambiance of this gorgeous hotel. The reviews here are all accurate. This is one place I would... More

A very special place. Stunning, relaxing and interesting. Great staff. Very cleverly thought through and executed pool and beach areas. Lovely views and places to relax in privacy outside each room. Very high quality massages and a lovely place to read, contemplate, swim, eat and drink. The weather was fabulous during my three night stay, which certainly helped - and... More
