5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Firstly this is a beautiful hotel & service, on the whole, was excellent. The room we stayed in was beautiful & well appointed. I especially like the fact, where guests are concerned, it is an all adults hotel, meaning there is an air of tranquility about the place. The pool area is lovely, has magnificent views of the bay of... More

If you are wanting to find a place of luxury to get away from it all, then this is it. The hotel is a converted fortress and it's all solid stone, so first impressions are that it looks quite stark. The infinity pool has a beautiful view of the coast and a lovely, much needed breeze. The rooms are spacious,... More

Although, I stay at some of the most fabulous hotels the world has to offer, I rarely write reviews. I simply don’t have the time. And it has taken me almost two months to settle down and write this review. But it has been in my mind to do so for the whole of that period. Why? Because the wonderful... More

Do not feel as though you have to be a battle hardened veteran to enjoy this magical fortress. Just a seasoned traveller, one that enjoys the finer things in life. My wonderful wife, is the person who's opinion I value the most. The one that I look to once we step into the entrance of any hotel that I have... More

I have never used the word "magical" to describe...well anything. Until now. Cap Rocat is Magical... there... I said it. Once a Fortress, now a 5 Star conclave of beautifully appointed suites (rustic chic), situated in such a way that each, includes an outdoor space, with a covered daybed, perched high above the Bay of Palma. Each turn you make... More

A night in an old fort does not sound particularly luxurious unless of course its the Cap Rocat which sits at the head of the harbor of Palma in Majorca, Spain. This amazing reuse of a fort has just 25 rooms but common area for hundreds. Each room is built within the walls with private decks and lounging areas facing... More

I highly recommend Rac Rocat for both hotel and their restaurants. We enjoyed a lovely long luncheon which turned in to a dinner as well. The food was excellent and the staff was lovely. Its an old spanish fortress that can't be missed if you ever going to Mallorca.

My husband and I just returned from a stay at Cap Rocat and cannot wait to return. The experience was, quite simply, magical. The property location is breathtaking-- the sea views spectacular and the seamless blending of the modern rooms into the 120 year old fortress exquisite. The setting in a natural protected habitat with many seabirds and exquisite vegetation... More

I'm torn about my feelings re: Cap Rocat because it was a truly special property but there was definitely something missing. I did not feel that the service was up to par of a world class property. Also, a few extra charges on our bill left a bad taste in my mouth. We participated in a yoga class and after... More
