We booked in for a one night stay chiefly so we could eat at the famous restaurant. The food was outstanding. Wonderful principle course with delightful amuses bouches and a stupendous sweet trolley at the end which sadly we had no space left to do justice too. A very good wine selection . Rooms on the other hand were garish... More

Handy to autoroute but quiet country location. Comfortable and quiet room spotlessly clean and warm despite the weather. Also very warm welcome on arrival despite being a bit early and overlap with departure of several Christmas lunch groups. No problem, shown to room within minutes. We had a great meal in the main restaurant. Not a cheap night but in... More

We booked last minute when all relais chateux in Belgium were full. We drove here for Marc Meurin's two star restaurant and were not disappointed the two nights we dined there - superb. The bistro was less so. The hotel itself was quirky , strangely renovated, most historical elements stripped away, except in the restaurant. The gentleman who guided us... More

Budget travellers look away now! This is a very well appointed modern hotel lurking inside an eighteenth century chateau nestling in a peaceful park. There is a good everyday restaurant (le jardin d'Alice) serving local specialities, but the jewel in the crown is the Michelin starred restaurant with fabulous food, although it is very expensive and not to everyone's taste.... Food fabulous although menu quirky, would recommend food without hesitation. Accommodation in a suite was comfortable but spoiled by the non functional air conditioning and the complete absence of any sort of service. Usually in Relais the service is excellent but here turndown didn't happen, room was very hot, there was only one person on reception and escorting people to... More

This chateau is situated quietly in a large park and combines architecture from the past with modern outfit. The owner is named Marc Meurin and owns also other restaurants. We had a superior room with balcony , well equipped with minibar and espresso machine. The staff is friendly and professional. There are two restaurants, one with two stars and a... More

We had been wanting to eat at Marc Meurin's main restaurant (two stars from Michelin) for a long time, having enjoyed the Jardin d'Alice (the bistro at the Chateau). My wife has one of his cookery books dating from his previous restaurant; it's provided the basis for some great meals over the years. A planned last night stopover on the... More

We stayed here for just one night and found a haven of perfection. The staff are helpful, friendly, professional and personal. The chateau has been refurbished to a very high standard of finish and design. The wooden floors are glorious and looking down into the cellar through the glass floor is an unusual touch. It is beautiful to look at... More

What an excellent hotel. We had a corner room (8) and it was comfortable, elegant and yet funky at the same time. Good bathroom and great shower ( a bit complicated at first ). Comfortable bed and nice linens. As we had dogs we ate in the bistro rather than the 2* Michelin. However, it was excellent (so the 2*... More

Checked in for one night in a party of 4 couples, check in was fast. Had the tasting menu complete with wines for each course, all very beautiful AND delicious. Room was good with separate bathroom and toilet, bed comfortable, however it lacked the charm expected of a chateau, why laminate floors ???perhaps the blue, modern decor didn't feel right, also had...
