The standard room was lovely, modern and very individually decorated, which I loved. It was clean and very comfortable with the usual complementary water, slippers etc expected in a hotel of this class. In fact the decor throughout the whole chateau has a distinct and original feel. The Michelin restaurant "Marc Meurin" was shut ( menu looked interesting) but we... more

My husband and I stayed one night at this hotel on our way to the Alsace. Check in was very poor as there was no-one at reception - not a soul in sight. I had to call out several times before someone appeared - no apology was offered. Not a good start. Our room was very modern - hubbie didn't... more

If you are looking for a hotel within 80Km of the Port of Calais that is personal, with modern rooms in a classical setting, then this is the place. We were impressed to check in late (1am) with no issues or paperwork and the key waiting for us. We were more impressed to find that there was a bean to... more

We have just spent two nights in a grand luxe room at the Chateau Beaulieu and we had a wonderful time. Our room was beautifully furnished & well equipped - great air conditioning. The chairs & bed in the room were very comfortable . It was on the 2nd floor & it was v quiet. The housekeeping was impeccable -... more

We arrived at this splendid hotel on a cold, sunny February afternoon and were immediately struck by the peaceful, well maintained grounds of this impressive chateau, situated in a rather uninteresting part of France. We had chosen to stay here for a short break because of it's reasonably close proximity to the Channel Tunnel and because we were impressed by... more

We stayed here with our 4 year old son on boxing day night on route to driving to Austria fon our skiing trip, what a beautiful hotel, I am always dubious when booking a room with a young child as you always think you will be given a 'duff'' one!! well none in sight at this hotel very chic, stylish... more

Stayed two nights to watch England play rugby in Lens,; rubbish match but this place more than made up for the dissapointment. Now we need a reason to go back. This is truly a gem of a hotel. Rooms are imaginatively and individually decorated, clean and very very comfortable. The staff were helpful to a fault (The Sommelier recommended great... more

We stayed just one night to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we couldn't have chosen a better spot. The chateau is extremely comfortable but the real reason to come here is the restaurant. We've been lucky enough to visit a number of very highly regarded restaurants in the UK, Europe and the US and for us this experience was right... more

This hotel is in a rather dull part of Northern France and is quite isolated . There are few other facilities so it should be regarded as an appendage to the highly regarded restaurant run by M.Meurin. The accomodation is bright stylish and comfortable with the most amazing showers. The food is excellent although the breakfast is as minimalist as... more
