We stayed two nights in the apartment the hotel offers. I noticed before going that the manager has argued with every constructive criticism that people have put on this review site which i believe reflects badly on a very good hotel overall. This fact very nearly put me off booking. So if this happens to my review, please know reader,... More

This beautifully appointed hotel is located near London's main attractions. The rooms are luxurious and staff very professional. The lounge with fireplace creates perfect ambiance for enjoying breakfast whilst looking through morning paper. I personally liked the homey feeling of the hotel created by Dean and his staff. Would highly recommend to both business and leisure visitors to London. You... More

This small but tastefully presented hotel is a great place, great location to explore Central and other locations around London. 5 mins walk to train station and shops, nice comfortable rooms, friendly staff and good food. The menu was not massive but the food was delicious. Found a pub around the corner that had a cheaper breakfast. I will definitely... More

Conveniently located, very close to plenty of London's attractions. Our room was up to date, with a modern, clean bathroom, although lacking in shelving for toiletries. The bed was comfortable, with crisp linen. It was hot weather, so a free standing air conditioning unit was put in our room- very useful. The hairdryer was fixed to the wall at the... More

We spent two nights here, Friday and Saturday, on a visit to see family and Dolly Parton at the O2. We were welcomed and shown to our room by a very pleasant young man. The room was pleasant (The Last Post) with hair dryer, fridge, tea making facilities, shower gel, shampoo and body wash provided, comfy double bed (nicely made... More

... I'm sure she'd check in here. I cannot imagine a cozier home-away-from-home for a single female traveler. "Victorian style" actually means tastefully decorated with not-really-antiques; understated, festive holiday decor, comfortable reading chairs, named rooms, and brilliant white linens - not faux-DIckensian kitsch. So, Victorian-type charm, without the mustiness: everything bright, freshly painted, sparkling clean, and all mod cons in... More

Beautiful room, warm comfy bed. Wonderful breakfast to set you off for the day, what more do you want? The host was very polite and helpful. Close to train station and a nice shopping centre. Will definitely stay there again

We booked last minute enroute to Heathrow, our requirement was 2 nights for 4 guests in one room. The pictures looked quite nice although we didn't stay in the main hotel itself but in a nearby appropriately named 'luxury apartment'. Beautiful and tastefully decorated, spacious and modern. The owner was always at the end of the phone or we could... More

What a lovely place. My daughter and I stayed over the new year holiday. It is close to the train to London. near the air port but, not next to it. The town is quiet. Stay away from the black cabs! We/I will return to London and the Ambassador will be at the top of our list.

We booked the hotel as it was close to family who we were visiting for Xmas. The proprietor was always pleasant and communicated well. It a typical English inn. We managed to get two rooms next to each other in which our kids stayed in. The rooms are clean and while the genre is old English decor probably needs a... More
