The atmosphere of Gut-ising is that of a small village, the buildings of which are different accommodation opportunities, restaurants, golf course, riding stables, wellness and spa area. It includes a small chapel and one can walk to the lake in around 15 minutes. There are different types of accommodations from modern to ones in very old buildings. Breakfast included a... More

We stayed here for two nights, room was fine, location was quiet, generally a good location to explore local area. Very nice spa area although the outside pool was closed, due I think, because it was quite late in the season. Good breakfast selection and a varied menu for other meals. Yes I would stay again.

My Company booked virtually the whole hotel for Annual Conference, so review based on heavily business oriented few days. I arrived very tired after early flight from UK at c 1pm...usually too early to check in but staff did a great job and got me into a room very quickly. Manager/Owner knocked on door within 30mins ensuring all was well...I... More

This hotel is far from highway. Definitely a spring, summer and fall location. The types of rooms varied significantly from ultra modern to extremely rustic. Size of the rooms also varied significantly. Good food and good service. The VIP Suite was spectacular. Oh my goodness and the spa services were good and well priced. My massage was quite relaxing.

The hotel is located not very close to the highway and not so easy to find. But if you find it you will enjoy it! Stayed there for business conference so I did not have the opportunity to profit from the beautiful landscape around, in summer must be really stunning - close to mountains and to the Chimsee lake. Stayed one night on a trip back from Salzburg; location is very rural and this hotel is clearly aimed at the 'country club' type guest; horses, golf and dogs welcome. Excellent reception, received breakfast, restaurant and spa Information and showed to our room. Room in the block we stayed in was a bit dated, however there are several themed blocks... More

We arrived in August for 3 days (2012). We parked in the designated car park (appears full). Mum, `dad and baby). The check-in desk (all of whom could speak English), said nothing but ..I quote "Here is you key" That's it. Nothing else. No "can I get your luggage?", no.."breakfast is at eight"..no..."do you need anything for your child?", "this... More

I had been really looking forward to staying at the hotel but I was disappointed. Despite the confirmation offer from the hotel clearly stating the price of the room included the cost of the wifi the receptionist tried to charge me about 25 euros for 12 hours! After a lot of arguing he finally relented and consented to honour the... More

wonderful location, quiet, with many outdoor activities (golf / tennis/ horses) and an amazing swimming pool and spa/ fitness center. Large rooms with balcony are available. Excellent restaurant with various dishes and kind waiters. the only negative point is the wifi access, out of order during 3 days of our stay, which was an issue as we were there for... More

The rooms and public areas in the hotel’s several buildings are well appointed and stylishly furnished. The newly expanded day spa can compete with quite the best that I've seen in this regard. The hotel’s environ on Chiemsee is fantastic, plenty of space for lengthy pleasure walks. The hotel’s golf course is well maintained and thoughtfully designed. If you are... More
