Sabie, nestling nicely in forested mountains and a great base to enjoy all the must see attractions, panoramic views, waterfalls, eco life style, wildlife, extreme fooling around and topped by the Kruger Park. My stay with Kate and Greg , one of the nicest couples one could wish to meet, where nothing was too much trouble and always with a smile.... More

When we arrived at Sabie Townhouse we couldn't believe our eyes, it was such a beatiful guest house. It is full of little corners and chill out spaces where we could hang out and relax, enjoying the magnificent views of South Africa. We were a group o 20 people, all family members, and we just felt like it was home.... More

We booked Townhouse guesthouse for 2 nights, and enjoyed it so much we decided to stay one more night. The guesthouse is beautiful and our room was very comfortable and clean. Greg and Kate are great hosts, very friendly fulfill all our unusual requests, and let us and our 1 year old baby feel very welcome. We love this place.... More

Our 4 night stay with Greg and Kate was an absolute pleasure. We took some family from the UK to Sabie and my initial concerns about how to do guest house living with two groups in two separate rooms were totally unfounded. Greg and Kate allow their guests open access to their common areas and we always felt at home... More

On our trip to the Krugerpark we stayed one night at this unique B&B. Their website provided us with all the necessary info which was perfect for us regarding our planning. Upon arriving Kate and Greg welcomed us and they are truly wonderful hosts! The room was spacious, well equiped and the house itself impressed us and there was a... More

Kate and Greg have made with Sabie Townhouse one of the most cool and relax place to stay for several days. The location is perfect, close to the Graskop, Blyde river Canyon, Pilgrim Rest and the Kruger. There are different rooms more or less large and/or basics but comfortable and very clean.Enjoy the swimming pool and a glass of wine... More

...nestles a hideaway always caressed by the rising sun. A B&B well-worth a stay. It is surrounded by a sublime, stony mystery enhanced by cool light and shade. Rooms are neat, and well-kept. It is obvious that a great deal of care has gone into the up-keep. Charming hosts who will go out of their way for your comfort. Guess... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Greg and Kate offer guests a warm personal welcome to our lovely, distinctive home, constructed of river stone and local timber, peacefully situated overlooking the stunning natural beauty of the Sabie Gorge. Without exception, the many guests who have stayed with us comment on the uniqueness of our home and that photographs just do not do it justice. From the verandah you can catch a glimpse of the hyrax enjoying the early morning sunshine, watch our resident sunbirds sipping nectar from strelitzia and hibiscus flowers, hear the occasional fish eagle calling and we have even been lucky enough to have a hippo wander by! Or you may like to take a short stroll across open bushveld to sit on the rocks and admire the gorge and river below. The emphasis of our spacious rooms is to offer guests comfort and a place to relax and feel at home. All have a separate private entrance and the majority overlook the lush gardens. Children are welcome, so we have family suites available and we are the only wheel chair friendly guesthouse in Sabie. Sumptuous breakfasts are served either in the dining room or on the verandah overlooking the swimming pool. We offer warm and friendly hospitality. ... more   less
