We enjoyed our 2 nights in Sabie. The zebra room was great, almost a mini-suite in its size and amenities. Bed was comfy. We particularly enjoyed the private jacuzzi. Breakfast was adequate - eggs, sausage, bacon, tomatoes, toast, cereal, fruit and baked goods. The honesty bar was a great way to relax. The place had a bit of a tired... More

We stayed here only one night which was too short! Nice pool and perfect breakfast! There is a Nice area to relax and use the bbq. Go to the wild fig tree for dinner and order the kudu steak! You can play pool as well. I would recommend this olace to anyone! From here you can do the panorama route.

We visited Sabie with my fiancée, aunts and their husbands. We arrived late at the guesthouse but Greg waited for us and kept intouch throughout our trip. The guesthouse is very beautiful and makes one feel at home. The owners are very friendly and welcoming.

Absolutely recommended!! We had the Zebra room, which was a big room, beautifully decorated, big private bathroom, two private balconies and own jacuzzi. We felt very luxury. We peaked in some other rooms, which were nice and clean too. Every room has is own theme. Owners are very friendly. Very good and extensive breakfast. Close to Kruger (one hour) and... More

We stayed here for four nights during our four week holiday in SA. Greg was so helpful in advising us where to go and what to see in the area. We stayed in the Leopard suite and were able to cater for ourselves, having two braais in the little courtyard/garden. The breakfasts in the main house were very good, and... More

Area around it is beatiful and next time we'll stay two nights there to have time to look around. Great hospitality. Nice bar near the pool on... More

We stayed here for one night only which didn't do it justice, however was impressed by the the friendliness of Kate and Greg they let us bring our own food in and use their kitchen. Our room or should I say apartment was huge, very clean. It was obviously for a family, with a full kitchen. There was even milk... More

Thank you Greg for this wonderful experience and stay, words can't even begin to describe the amazing moments that we have experienced with family and friends in your Lodge. The Leopard Room was excellent, the breakfast was delicious, the house and the environment were beautiful. In conclusion I strongly recommend your Lodge and see you soon.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Greg and Kate offer guests a warm personal welcome to our lovely, distinctive home, constructed of river stone and local timber, peacefully situated overlooking the stunning natural beauty of the Sabie Gorge. Without exception, the many guests who have stayed with us comment on the uniqueness of our home and that photographs just do not do it justice. From the verandah you can catch a glimpse of the hyrax enjoying the early morning sunshine, watch our resident sunbirds sipping nectar from strelitzia and hibiscus flowers, hear the occasional fish eagle calling and we have even been lucky enough to have a hippo wander by! Or you may like to take a short stroll across open bushveld to sit on the rocks and admire the gorge and river below. The emphasis of our spacious rooms is to offer guests comfort and a place to relax and feel at home. All have a separate private entrance and the majority overlook the lush gardens. Children are welcome, so we have family suites available and we are the only wheel chair friendly guesthouse in Sabie. Sumptuous breakfasts are served either in the dining room or on the verandah overlooking the swimming pool. We offer warm and friendly hospitality. ... more   less
