We stayed at Farmers Barns for a family wedding. After the very long journey, Gaynor was very welcoming. We stayed in one of the log cabins. There was 6 of us and plenty of room. The only problem that I had with the lodge was that it wasn't especially clean. This was something we all commented on. I was chief... More

What can we say about the Farmers Barns in Llantwit Major. We booked our daughters Wedding breakfast and evening reception for the 27th July 2014 (Sunday). The owners, Gaynor and family, ware a god send to us with nothing being too much for them. The barn where we had the wedding breakfast was superb, with everything that was required on... More

Stayed for 10 days with our border collie, we were all made very welcome, comfortable, and Gaynor could not have done any more, thank you Gaynor. The 2 lodges we stayed in were spotlessly clean with everything we needed to relax & enjoy our holiday & 10 days of sunshine added to the experience. We hope to return in the... More

We stayed here before and after our wedding, which was at Nash Point Lighthouse. The Stallion Stable is a beautiful cottage with a big bedroom and lovely decor. The nearby walks are lovely and the town has everything that you need. We got a Thai takeaway one night from one of the pubs in town, it was so delicious and... More

Recently attended a wedding here , together with overnight accom in one of the cottages. My main concern was the lack of disabled provisions.Yes there was a disabled toilet. Unfortunately there were no ramps or handrails available anywhere. Given the very nature of the venue this makes it very difficult for wheelchair users or infirm individuals. The farmers cottages were... More

My husband and I, plus our two dogs, spent a lovely few days here at the beginning of September. The Cow Barn was very comfortable and well equipped and Gaynor even went to the trouble to find a more suitable chair for my husband (who is partially disabled). Although the CB sleeps 4 in two rooms, we were given a... More

I am spending the last of five very relaxing days in a beautifully warm, cosy, well equipped and nicely furnished log cabin at the Farmers Barns. My cabin has two good sized double bedrooms, each with a lovely clean en-suite wet room. The hot powerful shower is pure luxury! The beds are extremely comfortable with good quality bed linen. The... We recently spent a few days in the Cow Shed. After reading the description expected great things but were very disappointed. We were never actually given anything in writing regarding the booking - including confirmation of price. The kitchen cabinets were full of spiders and webs and we had to purchase cleaning products and cloths to make use of some... More

We had a wonderful weekend at The Farmers Barns with the family and two other families and friends in two of the other cottages. They are all warm, well equipped and in a beautiful setting. Gaynor is the perfect host, very relaxed, smiley and friendly and she helped to make our stay so much more personal and special. It is... More
