Staying at this hotel make my mind blowing. The hotel keeps all stuff on old modes. The services were above excellence. Good people with humble smile keep trying to fulfill my needs. The attitude and humbleness make me feel like in home. Value for money, one of the best I've stayed in for the price I paid for

Tugu Blitar is a pleasant heritage hotel with an impressive antique artwork collection on display throughout the hotel public space. The suite in the main building is very spacious, quiet, and elegantly furnished. The high platform bed is firm and comfortable and we had two very restful nights.  Clean bathroom with good quality toiletry and hairdryer. Shower head desires some... More

After touring Penataran Temple and the intimate Gebang Residence (home of 1st President, Sukarno), I stayed in one of the 8 Tugu Suites that made up the Old Colonial Building. Crowned by a double Presidential Suite that is beautifully maintained with original historical photos of Sukarno, the building exudes class and quiet elegance in an otherwise sleepy town of Blitar.... Hotel Tugu Blitar is so nice to stay for a holiday in the country side. Quiet, delicious restaurant and very clean rooms. The afternoon tea with the delicious sweets is a must to try and it`s for free for hotel guests ! In the surroundings of Blitar are some interesting sites as the former house and grave of Sukarno, first... More

This is the 3rd Tugu hotel my husband and I have stayed in. Living in Jakarta for a couple of years we wanted to know more on the historical side and decided to start at a place where it all started, Blitar. Initially we booked the Tugu suite and decided to upgrade to Sang Fajar Suite after Ibu Hartini showed... More

Staying in Tugu Hotel in Blitar was a truly amazing experience. First of all, it was the most beautiful hotel we've seen for a long time. Every corner and space is thought about and taken care of, the garden is lush and tropical and all the ornaments and furniture are a treat for the eye. The staff here is excellent... More

This was our second Tugu Hotel after the one in Malang and we chose a standard room. It is not as nice as the first one. The hotel is fine, a bit rustic as if the owner is not quite finished with it. The reception area is small and unimpressive, the dining area OK and the food quite good and... More

Decided to come back to this hotel after a bit dissapointed last time. But now I realized that you have to use at least superior room to get the awesome service and facilities. With only around 50k different price between the cheapest and superior, I recommend to choose at least the superior class. It is much better and this hotel... More

Unique old hotel, surrounding by big and old trees. The main entrance is covered by tree canopy and old Dutch building with antique furnishing. Instantly, it will bring you back into nostalgic and traditional atmosphere. Room is not so big but clean with old fashion floor. WIFI available in all room and quite fast. Tea or coffee along with traditional... More
