we stayed here at the beginning of the season, so the grounds were not quite cleaned up from the winter, ex. the fountain out front was being cleaned, the pools were not open yet. But the hotel is beautiful. In the rooms you can hear your neighbor quite well. they are clean and brought us little goodies at turndown time.... more

7 nights failed to reveal a fault: excellent cuisine, service , facilities - especially the enormous pool. The historic building has been tastefully and expensively modernised to give 5 star accomodation. There is nowhere you can walk to from the hotel but car hire or taxis are the answer should you want to leave! more
