The hotel is just a minute walking from the historical city center. We spent 4 nights here and had a pleasant stay: the rooms are nice and not small at all, there is a small balcony, a table and there is a wifi signal in the rooms (slow) and airconditioning (necessary at night too!). The breakfast has everything you need... More

Very expensive and poor hotel that probably survives because there are no other options in the city. The only quality here it's his location in the heart of the historic centre. The rooms are big but not very clean, outdated and worn...hope to find other option next time!

The only reason to choose this hotel is its location, right in the historic centre of the city. For one night is ok, but nothing to talk about: the rooms are big but very outdated and worn, the bathroom had stains on the floor (old stains that cannot be scrubbed away), the sheet on the mattress couldn't cover it entirely... I arrived at the hotel around 2AM. Check-in was fast, less than 5 minutes. My room (434) was quiet and although a bit worn, everything was working properly. Missed wireless internet. Flat screen TV had dozens of channels (even HBO and Cinemax). Breakfast was good and they had "tapioca" cooked to your order, however fruit didn't look very fresh. Pool... More

We found this Hotel to be a very nice place to stay, perhaps a little bit above the sort of place we normally frequent. Although the Price was not over the top. We found the room to be very comfortable and quiet, just what we needed. The location was just perfect, being in the heart of the Historic Centre part... More

This hotel is really not a four star, should be 3 1/2 at best. The rooms are dated and tired but clean and big. Staff service is not great and not many speaks English. The pool is decent but the location is fantastic, easy to explore old city of Sao Luis.

We were traveling with a group and arrived late (2:00 a.m.. The staff was available to check us in. Although the main elevator was not working, we were allowed to use the service elevator to reach the fifth floor. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. We eventually figured out how to work the A/C unit, which worked... More

The hotel is very well located for old city center sightseeing. Rooms are clean and well maintained. The service at reception is good yet may appear distant. The night we arrived was taking place the local feast of Bumba Meu Boi that happens 2 times per year and only in Sao Luiz and the staff at the desk did not... More

The rooms are big, but a little bit old. Some are being reformed (not the one we got) And the bathroom is not THAT clean, but it was ok... We went in high season and even then, the pool bar was under reform. The kiosk at the pool was 'destroyed'. The good part is that the pool was clean and... More
