This hotel is simply lovely! The staff (mainly) are very friendly. It's clean, the breakfasts are wonderful and the rooms are gorgeous, The bar (like so many hotel bars) is impersonal. Stuck in the huge foyer with no atmosphere and the staff were not pleasant but this was a small inconvenience, other staff in the hotel were Very pleasant. The... More

This is a beautiful hotel. There are extensive grounds, which are maintained well. The hotel is in close proximity to the marina where there are nice, affordable seafood restaurants if you want to stay close to home. We ate the buffet breakfast in the hotel and the service was friendly - the premises are clean and well staffed. The spa... More

Beautiful location and fabulous grounds and pools. But rooms are definitely tired and well below standard. Everything costs extra - pool towels, wi- fi, and even an iron! Although they didn't have any irons available during our stay! On the plus side, the staff were extremely attentive and friendly, and we found the food to be excellent - especially in... More

Lets be clear - this is no longer a five star hotel. Probably due to recession, price wise, cheaper than might have been expected but standards are not there.Rooms getting tired, television sets from year dot,no robes (de luxe sea view room) no tea coffee facilities, poor reception staff, pay deposit for pool towels pay extra to delay check out by three... We stayed at this hotel over Easter 2012. The positives were that the rooms were comfy and spacious, the grounds of the hotel were beautiful ,and the nearby resort of Puerto Calero is quiet and classy, with several very good restaurants. The staff were, for the most part, attentive and helpful. However, there were some negatives. The one night we ate in... More

My wife and I went to this Hotel for the first time, also my second visit to the island since long time ago. This hotel is quite new and it's a good value for a 5 Stars (I would give it 4 stars instead) Checking in was smooth and fast, they were nice and explained everything about the hotel rules... More

This excellent hotel - impressive, well designed, comfortable, with splendid facilities and blessed with a superb location, is let down by a serious shortage of staff. The staff on duty try very hard to satisfy the needs of guests. There is no pool service - although the pool bar does a good job. A request for champagne cocktails could not... More

Amazing Breakfast and some great views! Rooms are dated and some rust in bathroom. Pools too cold to swim in/you have 3 English speaking channels on TV...BBC world news/Sky news/cartoon network!/ you have to pay to have an iron in your room....I was told by staff they were too busy to send one to my room so I had to... I booked a short Easter break at this hotel only a few days before departure and I was gladly not disappointed by my choice. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, the place was immaculate and definitely had that 5* ambience about it. The main restaurant (Botavara) had such an array of dishes that one could spend a week trying different... More

Had a great stay here in March 2012. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk (along a nice path by the sea) from the main shops and restaurants of Puerto Calero. Great breakfasts with a huge selection. Probably wouldn’t recommend half/full board here as there are so many great restaurants in the town, and the night we did have... More
