We stayed at La Baie des Anges recently - the perfect place to stay when exploring this area of Brittany. The room was clean, comfortable, light and airy, though a little smaller than we are used to, but then I do tend to travel with a lot of luggage! I liked the quirky objets d'art and soft furnishings that decorated... More

It seems the far end of the world, or at least the outer edge of Brittany, but the trip is more than worth it! Our family of four had a very relaxing stay in one of the apartments (Fort Cezon) watching the tide, with magnificent views of the bay, far off islands and lighthouse. We woke up every morning to... If you want quiet, unspoilt and non commercialised with stunning scenery and good walking on the doorstep then this is a really good place to stay. Originally booked for two night stay and liked the hotel and area stayed for another two. Hotel is small but very stylishly decorated. We stayed in a ground floor room at back of hotel... More

Our fourth visit and we are still entranced. The views from the breakfast room and from the nearby Villa des Anges are endlessly fascinating whatever the weather. The pool is a bonus, and the kitchen facilities in the apartment, though fairly basic, are more than enough for the occasional lunch or supper, and there is a selection of good restaurants... More

The room was dirty with hairs on the floor etc on arrival. When we asked if they had allowed pets in the room - they stated not - but my wife an I spent 3 nights sneezing - not sleeping. The price quoted on Booking.com was from a room rate for 3 nights - when we left they charged us... More

Excellent with a great sized room, sea views, free aperitif, and included breakfast and friendly service. There is even an iPhone music player in the room. What more could you ask for? Drinks on the terrace watching the sunset? Oh yes, certainly sir. This hotel has “flash” specials so make sure you checkout their web site and call.

This was our third visit to the hotel and it didn't disappoint. This time we stayed in the Villa about 100 yards down the road from the main hotel but had access to the hotel facilities. Villa has fantastic views across the bay. it's billed as "pieds dans l'eau" as tide comes right up to the building. Lovely apartment, good... More

This is a charming hotel with glorious views over the beach and river estuary. The room we had was comfortable and well placed and the bathroom very well appointed apart from a missing bulb and shade and a broken shade over the mirror. The bed was excellent, as was the service. BUT: We felt the price was high for such... More

A curious hotel which is clearly made up of a series of old houses cleverly knocked into a hotel. Chic and fairly stylish it is clean and bright. Bedrooms on the average-sized size and comfortable. Large towels in the bathroom with plentiful hot water and above average toiletries. Over-bath shower in our room (33) and a bidet and sink; WC... More

We'd made the reservation via Chateau hotels and it appeared when we got there that the type of room we had reserved had not been recognised and we were led in the direction of a room high up at the back of the hotel. On pointing out - and demonstrating - that we'd reserved a waterfront room, it turned out... More
