Leaves you wondering how the villa got 4 stars. No elevator. What happens in case of fire, how to get out? No smoke detector detected or escape possibility seen. Distance between villa and hotel inconvenient. No dedicated parking place for guests, not surveilled either. Apartment smaller then expected. Shower in bathtub. Breakfast nice. No restaurant. Overall we feel there is... More

We spent three nights here on a Brittany Ferries deal. Jacques le patron, gave us a warm welcome and his colleagues were very helpful with advice on restaurants, even booking for us - It helps to speak a little French! The hotel does not have a restaurant, but the included breakfast was generous and served in a lovely room overlooking... More

We splashed out on a two-night package including a spa treatment each, over a quiet weeked in January, and were very impressed. The hotel itself is lovely; just the right size to have good facilities but still feel personal. Our "suite grand large", comprising bedroom, living room and bathroom, was very well appointed, and had good views out to sea.... More

The views from this hotel are very nice but that's about it. The rooms are shabby and becoming run down and very expensive for what you get. The breakfast was also poor for the price. Generally we were very disappointed.

Stayed 3 nights, with a superb view on the bay. Rooms are clean and comfortable. In front of the hotel you have a terrace where you can relax and enjoy a drink overlooking the bay. One minus point, the waiters in the breakfast area should be more attentive, we had to wait for at least 10 minutes before someone showed... More

We booked our fourth stay at this hotel with some qualms given a few less than positive reviews but need not have worried. The same opportunity for calm relaxation awaits by the Aber Wrach. We booked again through Brittany Ferries who seem to have allocations at the back of the hotel, so these rooms do not have views directly of... More

We stayed at La Baie des Anges recently - the perfect place to stay when exploring this area of Brittany. The room was clean, comfortable, light and airy, though a little smaller than we are used to, but then I do tend to travel with a lot of luggage! I liked the quirky objets d'art and soft furnishings that decorated... More

It seems the far end of the world, or at least the outer edge of Brittany, but the trip is more than worth it! Our family of four had a very relaxing stay in one of the apartments (Fort Cezon) watching the tide, with magnificent views of the bay, far off islands and lighthouse. We woke up every morning to... If you want quiet, unspoilt and non commercialised with stunning scenery and good walking on the doorstep then this is a really good place to stay. Originally booked for two night stay and liked the hotel and area stayed for another two. Hotel is small but very stylishly decorated. We stayed in a ground floor room at back of hotel... More

Our fourth visit and we are still entranced. The views from the breakfast room and from the nearby Villa des Anges are endlessly fascinating whatever the weather. The pool is a bonus, and the kitchen facilities in the apartment, though fairly basic, are more than enough for the occasional lunch or supper, and there is a selection of good restaurants... More
