We, like a lot of people, booked this hotel as a stopover driving back from Perpignan. On the plus side, the hotel staff were all friendly and helpful, the room however was very disappointing. We had booked a superior ground floor room in the main part of the building, this was the most expensive room on offer other than a... more

There is no reason why a stay at this hotel should disappoint - so long as your expectations are moderate to start with. We booked this as a stopover on a trip from Provence back to the UK, and as such arrived mid afternoon, and left again after breakfast. The hotel is easily found, less than 10 minutes from the... more

We were very disappointed with the 'twin room' booked for my father and brother. It was in a separate house (room 66)-scruffy from the outside, quite some distance from the actual hotel, where my partner and I were staying. Although I specified a twin room through France Hotel Network (I'll never book with them again- all their client reviews are... more

Not a chateau and on the side of the road but lovely public rooms. Bedrooms are fine, pretty and with good bathrooms - very warm as it was summer, but leaving windows open and shutters partially closed resolved the problem. The food was fantastic, perfectly prepared and presented. Each course was a picture and the flavours sublime. Good selection of... more

We travel from GB to Provence and back several times a year and enjoy trying different hotels. This is one we shall return to mainly for the freindly service and excellent food. The room wasn't the cheapest one they had but good value. The food excellent - prices varied from 42 euros to over 80 euros pp but this is... more

This 4 star hotel is a must particularly for the food. The rooms are fine although not outstanding and are likely to be very warm in summer. All the public rooms are excellent and the staff are very friendly. The food served in the attractive dining room is top drawer and certainly a gastronomique experience. more

Turned up on ferociously hot afternoon, midweek, not having prebooked. A fairly cool, well decorated ground floor room (no A/C in bedrooms) was available and with shutters closed, this proved a very comfortable place to be until dinner. (Air conditioning in dining room). As a woman travelling alone, I was very well looked after. Both the welcome at reception and... more

This is a great place to break a journey from Calais to the south of France, or as a quiet base from touring the region. It is very quiet with little else around so be careful about staying longer than 1 night. Make sure you book for dinner at the hotel restaurant - firstly because there is nowhere else and... more
